Helpful Information

IvyOnline programs take place online, with no time in the traditional classroom required. All course assignments are assigned and completed through your IvyLearn class page.

Most activities are asynchronous, meaning there is no scheduled class meeting time and you learn on your own schedule, withing the term timeframe. 

And just like all of our programs, IvyOnline credits are stackable. You earn real college credentials at milestones along the way to earning your Associate Degree. Learn More about this.

Each of our programs at the Evansville campus are designed to lead you toward a great career. Some of those programs could be free for qualifying individuals, through Indiana's Next Level Jobs program.

Apply to the college. You will want to select "Evansville" as your home campus, so that you can take advantage of help from advisors and enrollment specialists who can help you along the way.

You may also WANT to come to the Evansville campus to take part in events and other opportunities. This is entirely up to you. 

Financial aid is money to help pay for college. Everyone's financial situation is different. Most students qualify for some form of financial aid, on the basis of "need" or the gap between a student's cost of attendance and the "expected family contribution." At Ivy Tech, students receive $143 million in scholarships, grants, and federal work study opportunities each year.

The Achieve Your Degree Program is a partnership between Ivy Tech and nearly 300 employers. These employers provide tuition assistance for their employees to earn a credential or degree, with little to no up-front cost to the student. 

The list of participating employers grows every month. Check with your employer, or Ivy Tech to see if they are participating. 

It is important fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), as that is a requirement for access to financial aid and scholarships.
