Building on Your Certificate
If your goal is to earn an associate degree in Health Information Technology, you can earn this certificate as a great first step. The certificate is designed to provide a gateway into entry-level HIT careers. That means you may be able to enter the workforce in your desired field after getting this certificate while you continue taking classes to pursue your associate degree. At Ivy Tech, we call this stacking credentials.
A completion guide provides the recommended path to graduation, broken out by eight-week terms. For students taking fewer classes at a time, the courses are numbered to show the overall number that will be taken.
