The Associate of Applied Science in Informatics empowers students to use digital technology in the sphere of data, information, and knowledge to facilitate decision-making. Students will take courses in Informatics, HCI, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Cybersecurity, IT Support, and Networking, as well as acquire industry certification.
Associate degree graduates must complete a total of 60 credit hours:
- 16 general education course credits
- 32 technical core course credits
- 12 statewide elective track credits
As an AAS Informatics student, you will have the option to pursue one of the following tracks:
- Criminal Justice
- Health Information
- Homeland Security
A completion guide provides the recommended path to graduation, broken out by 8-week terms.
