Financial Aid Deadlines

To be considered for state and federal aid, you must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as FAFSA. Each October, the FAFSA is available for the next school year. It’s best to fill it out as early as you can because some aid is first come, first served.

To make sure you receive aid before your first day of classes, complete and submit your Ivy Tech application and FAFSA by:

  • April 15 — Indiana FAFSA deadline
  • May 1 — For Summer Term
  • July 15 — For Fall Term
  • December 1 — For Spring Term

Fill Out the FAFSA — By April 15

It's Easier Than You Think

To qualify for federal and state financial aid, you must file the FAFSA every year — it’s the starting point for getting most aid. Be sure to submit your FAFSA by April 15 to qualify for the maximum possible state aid.
