WHAT IS THE NEXT LEVEL JOBS PROGRAM?
Next Level Jobs is a program that gives you the opportunity to earn a FREE credential from Ivy Tech, thanks to the Workforce Ready Grant, setting you up to take your next step towards a high-paying, high-demand job in Indiana. Students take classes to earn credits towards a short-term certificate (known as a certificate) or long-term certificate (known as a technical certificate) like any other Ivy Tech student—the difference is the Workforce Ready Grant pays for your tuition and fees.
Ivy Tech offers free certificates in the fields of advanced manufacturing, building and construction, health sciences, information technology, business, transportation, and logistics as part of the Next Level Jobs program.
WHERE IS NEXT-LEVEL JOBS OFFERED?
Every Ivy Tech campus offers a unique combination of academic programs and degrees. All of our major campuses offer for-credit and non-credit credentials that can be earned free through the Next Level Jobs program.
$0 COST IF YOU QUALIFY
The Next Level Jobs program completely covers your tuition and mandatory fees if you qualify. You are eligible to earn a free credential from Ivy Tech if you fulfill all of the following requirements:
- You are an Indiana resident, and
- You have a high school diploma or GED/High School Equivalency, and
- You have not previously received a certificate in a Next Level Jobs-eligible program, and
- You have not previously received an associate degree or higher (bachelor's, master's, etc.)
NON-CREDIT SKILLS TRAINING OPTIONS
Ivy Tech also offers a variety of free, non-credit skills training options within the Next Level Jobs program. This training is available tuition-free for all eligible students, but they do not count for college credit. Skills training can be a great choice for students who do not intend to pursue a formal certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree, but want to seek a higher-paying, in-demand position. Contact your local Ivy+ Career Link team member to learn more about non-credit skills training options.

BUILD ON YOUR CERTIFICATE
Once you earn one of the short-term certificates (known as a certificate) offered through Next Level Jobs, you can apply those credits toward a long-term certificate (known as a technical certificate) or an associate degree. Or if you start with a free technical certificate through Next Level Jobs, you can build on that to pursue your associate degree. We call this "stacking your credentials." Starting with a free certificate from Ivy Tech through Next Level Jobs is a great way to jumpstart your education as you work your way to a new higher-paying, in-demand career.
