More than $300,000 is available to be awarded to students to attend the Ivy Tech Terre Haute campus in 2021-22. Students can be awarded scholarships based on many attributes, including program of study, minority student status, county of residence, and others.

Some scholarships are available specifically for high school seniors. 

Other scholarships are available to students in specific fields of study. For example, several scholarships are intended to support future healthcare workers, including the Practical Nursing Scholarship and the Terre Haute Regional Hospital scholarship.

Scholarships Open for Application:

First Financial Bank Students First Scholarship

If you are a first-generation college student, you are eligible to apply for the $1,000 First Financial Bank Students First Scholarship to attend Ivy Tech Community College Terre Haute! Click below for details and to apply.


Elevate: Minority Scholars Achievement Program

The Ivy Tech ELEVATE Minority Scholars Achievement Program scholarship will be awarded to ten African-American students. Scholarship recipients will be awarded a $2000 scholarship each year at Ivy Tech Community College Terre Haute. Click below to learn more and apply.

Duke Energy Scholarship

High School students who plan to attend Ivy Tech Community College Terre Haute in Fall 2021 for a program in the School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering, and Applied Science who attend the following schools are eligible to apply: Clay City, Cloverdale, Greencastle, Linton-Stockton, North Vermillion, Northview, Shakamak, South Vermillion, North and South Vigo.

Thrive On! Scholarship

This scholarship encourages students to continue their leadership development at Ivy Tech by participating in Student Leadership Academy and as an Ivy Tech Student Ambassador. Selection criteria includes the following:

• At least two years of high school club participation (Key Club, JAG, Interact, DECA, etc.)
• Engagement and involvement in activities that support the local community
• Evidence of career exploration (i.e. internship, employment, completion of ICE, etc.)
• Special consideration will be given to students who have high school attendance records of 90% or higher.
• $1,000 annually


Chancellor's Award Scholarship

• For students who will graduate high school with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or in the top 10% of their class
• Covers the full cost of tuition, technology fees, and books for four semesters
• Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA
• Must enroll in at least 12 credit hours of Ivy Tech coursework each semester


Academic/Technical Honors Scholarship

• Must receive an academic honors or technical honors diploma
• $750 a semester
• Renewable for four semesters
• Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA
• Must enroll in at least 6 credit hours of Ivy Tech coursework each semester


Laptop Scholarship

This scholarship can be awarded in conjunction with any other scholarships.

• Selection will be based on a rubric of essay questions, high school GPA, dual credit, and Ivy Tech GPA if applicable.
