Students can be awarded scholarships based on many attributes, including program of study, minority student status, county of residence, and others.

To apply for scholarships: 


Laptop Scholarship

Now accepting applications for the 2023-24 academic year.

This scholarship can be awarded in conjunction with any other scholarship.

• Selection will be based on a rubric of essay questions, high school GPA, dual credit, and Ivy Tech GPA if applicable.


Chancellor's Award Scholarship for 2022-23 High School Seniors

Now accepting applications for the 2023-24 academic year.

• For students who will graduate high school with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or in the top 10% of their class
• Covers the full cost of tuition, technology fees, and books for four semesters
• Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA
• Must enroll in at least 12 credit hours of Ivy Tech coursework each semester


Academic/Technical Honors Scholarship for 2022-23 High School Seniors

Now accepting applications for the 2023-24 academic year.

• Must receive an academic honors or technical honors diploma
• $750 a semester
• Renewable for four semesters
• Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA
• Must enroll in at least 6 credit hours of Ivy Tech coursework each semester


Bowen Scholars Program for New and Current Students

Now accepting applications for the 2023-24 academic year, PLUS a few open spots in the current cohort.

Open to new and current students, the Bowen Scholars Program will support 20 African American students each academic year. Each recipient will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship to attend Ivy Tech Community College Terre Haute, renewable for up to two years.


Thrive On! Scholarship Nominations for Current Students

The Thrive On! Scholarship will begin accepting applications for the 2023-24 academic year in early 2023.

Do you know a student who could benefit from leadership development to help them thrive? The Thrive On! Scholarship will provide deserving students with the tools and resources to help them grow and develop into strong and vibrant leaders. The selected scholars will receive:
•    Exclusive monthly programming targeted at professional development, community service, and honing those necessary “soft skills” for leadership development and future employment
•    $1,000 living stipend per semester in the program
•    Opportunity to participate in professional mentorships

2021-22 Bowen Scholars 

Scholarship applications are reviewed by the selection committee and students are automatically matched with scholarships for which they are eligible. Students are notified of scholarship awards via their ivytech.edu email account.
