About the Scholarship
Scholarships and Training for High School and Adult Students Pursuing Careers in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Quality
Lilly Scholars @ Ivy Tech is a scholarship program supporting students who are pursuing credentials in pharmaceutical manufacturing-related fields, including biotechnology or quality and are residents of the following counties in Indiana:
Bartholomew | Hancock | Montgomery |
Boone | Hendricks | Morgan |
Brown | Henry | Owen |
Carroll | Howard | Putnam |
Clinton | Johnson | Rush |
Grant | Madison | Shelby |
Greene | Marion | Tippecanoe |
Hamilton | Monroe | Tipton |
The Lilly Scholars @ Ivy Tech will receive financial assistance and experiential learning opportunities, including opportunities to apply for summer programs and/or work-study programs. The program will also support Lilly Scholars with customized education and training as they earn their manufacturing certifications and associate-level manufacturing degree options. Current employees of Eli Lilly and Company are not eligible and should seek to leverage tuition reimbursement within Lilly.
The pharmaceutical manufacturing industry contributes significantly to Indiana's economy, providing high-paying jobs and driving innovation to help patients. Through the creation of this program, Ivy Tech and Lilly will collaborate to improve the lives of Indiana residents and beyond by creating industry networking and hands-on learning experiences and opportunities to apply for paid internships, work/study programs, apprenticeships, or full-time roles.
SCHOLARS WILL HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO:
- Network with industry leaders and mentors
- Participate in industry experiences, compete for paid internships and/or apprenticeships
- Apply for full-time employment after graduation, if applicable
Additional Support
All Ivy Tech students also have access to IvyCares, a wraparound service that provides additional support in areas outside of the classroom. Its offices can help students with needs like transportation, food insecurity, mental health, and emergency funds through campus and community resources.
