The Related Training Instructor plays a vital role in connecting classroom learning to real-world applications within the Early Childhood Apprenticeship program. Through intentional instruction and support, you help apprentices build the foundational knowledge and professional skills needed to succeed in early childhood settings.
Your role ensures that apprentices not only gain hands-on experience but also understand the “why” behind their practices—strengthening their ability to support young children’s development in meaningful ways.
Here, you’ll find resources to support competency alignment, assessment, and communication with employer partners and high schools. These tools are designed to help you create engaging, relevant learning experiences while reinforcing the connection between theory and practice.
By guiding apprentices through their related instruction, you help shape knowledgeable, reflective, and skilled early childhood professionals, preparing them to make a lasting impact in the lives of young children.
