Apply for scholarships online via MyIvy! 

Scholarships are an important part of the financial aid process at Ivy Tech Community College Indianapolis. Scholarships are gift-aid and do not require repayment. Applicants must meet the basic eligibility criteria to be considered. Some scholarships require additional criteria.

  • Changes to applications are not permitted once the application is submitted

Ivy Tech Indianapolis Scholarships


Alan Pyle Advanced Manufacturing Endowed Scholarship

The Alan Pyle Advanced Manufacturing Endowed Scholarship is intended to support:

  • Ivy Tech Indianapolis students in the Machine Tool Technology program who have successfully completed at least 9 credit hours.
  • Students must have declared a major and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher

Altrusa Foundation Scholarship

  • Recipients should be non-traditional students currently enrolled full-time or part-time
  • Must have graduated from High School 10+ years ago
  • Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 and be in good standing
  • Must have completed at least 25% of coursework for degree at time of application
  • Must submit 2 letters of recommendation
  • Finalists must complete specific essay questions for the Altrusa Foundation Selection Committee

American Structurepoint Design Technology Scholarship

  • Recipient must be pursuing a Design Technology credential
  • Students must intend on completing a paid internship with American Structurepoint in Indianapolis during the Summer semester

Automotive Student Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is funded by Automotive Technology faculty and is awarded to students in the Automotive Technology program.

  • Students must be in the automotive technology program

Avon Scholarship

Established by the Town of Avon for students living in Avon

  • Recipients must be a resident of Avon, Indiana
  • Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • The Avon Scholarship covers tuition charges up to 12 credit hours

Barrett Fuller Memorial Scholarship for Culinary Arts

Barrett Fuller was passionate about the culinary industry, and was always eager to help others. Food, creating a beautiful and enjoyable meal, and his huge servant's heart that brought people together are just three things Barrett will forever be remembered for in his life.  His success was partly due to the kindness of others who believed in him. His legacy now includes this scholarship, meant for:

  • Culinary Arts students who may be facing some academic or life challenges.
  • Students must be enrolled at Ivy Tech Indianapolis

Belle Tire Distributors Scholarship

The Belle Tire Distributors Scholarship is intended to supplement other sources of financial aid, helping change students' lives for the better. The scholarship will support and encourage students who:

  • Attend Ivy Tech Indianapolis

Bowen Scholars Program - Established by Bob and Terry Bowen & The Bowen Foundation*  

  • The Bowen Scholarship is awarded to selected applicants for a maximum of four years, up to 70 credit hours, or the completion of an associate of applied science degree, a technical certificate or a certificate of training, whichever comes first

Bright Ideas in Broad Ripple Scholarship - Established by Bright Ideas in Broad Ripple

  • Recipient must demonstrate financial need - this scholarship is for tuition, fees and books only
  • Single parents will be given preference in the selection process

Busted Knuckle Scholarship for Automotive Students

  • Students must be enrolled in the Automotive Technology Program at Ivy Tech Indianapolis,
  • Students must have completed 6 hours of AUTC program level courses (to be confirmed by the program chair before awarding),
  • Students must maintain a 2.5 overall GPA, and
  • Students must be eligible for financial aid and meet the requirements set by Ivy Tech & the federal government.

Catrina Lane-Tate Scholarship

The Catrina Lane-Tate Scholarship was created by Ivy Tech alumna, Catrina Tate, to serve Ivy Tech Community College students attending the Indianapolis campus who became a parent for the first time as a teenager.

Requirements: 
 •  Students who became a parent for the first time as a teenager
•  Consideration will also be given to children of teen parents
•  Have a minimum GPA of 2.0                                                                                                             

Center for Working Families 

  • Must be an Indiana resident currently enrolled at one of the Ivy Tech Central Indiana campuses
  • Do not need to be enrolled in a degree program
  • May be engaged in remedial classes for enrollment in a degree program
  • Prior to receiving the funds, the recipient(s) must identify a person in their life who supported and mentored them and send a letter of appreciation for the role they played in their lives

Culinary School Scholarship

This scholarship is for Culinary Arts students at Ivy Tech. To be eligible for this award, students must be in the Culinary Arts program and meet ONE of these criteria:

  • Students work 30+ hours per week; students are single parents; students are first in their family to attend college; students are taking 12 credit hours or less per semester;
  • OR if no other criteria met, students must demonstrate financial need

Dr. Harry Brickley Farm Foundation Scholarship

Originally from Bluffton, Indiana, Harry D. Brickley, Jr., M.D., received his Bachelor of Science from Indiana University Bloomington in 1950 and his Doctorate of Medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1953; and after completing his surgery residency for one-year at Passavant Hospital (Northwestern University) and 5 1/2 years at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, returned to Indiana as a surgeon in Indianapolis. Later in his career, Dr. Brickley began a farm operation in communities surrounding his hometown of Bluffton. In 2016, Dr. Brickley founded the Dr. Harry Brickley Farm Foundation, Inc. He has been a benefactor of Ivy Tech through scholarships and gifts of land to promote the agriculture program at Ivy Tech. This scholarship is in memory of his parents, Harry and Ina Brickley. Priority is given to:

  • Students pursuing education in nursing or healthcare professions.

Duke Energy Scholarship

The Duke Energy Scholarship is generously provided by the Duke Energy Foundation. This scholarship seeks to build a workforce pipeline to combat the opioid crises in West Central Indiana.

  • Individuals pursuing a career in addiction or mental health services in Vigo, Clay, Gibson, Greene, Hendricks, Knox, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Sullivan or Vermillion Counties, Indiana
  • Recipients will have 100% of their tuition, books and fees covered.

ECED Program Fund

  • Recipients must be enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program at Ivy Tech Community College
  • Preference will be given to students who do not currently receive financial aid and have maintained a 2.5 GPA or greater. 

Eitel Family Scholarship for Civic Leadership

  • Recipient must be a current Putnam County resident
  • Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • Must have exhibited a desire to serve and lead in the community by participating in an extracurricular activity and community service that includes, but is not limited to: volunteering at school, in the community or for a non-profit organization

Employee Giving Campaign Student Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Ivy Tech employees in support of Ivy Tech students.

  • Includes tuition, fees, and books.

Evan DeMarinis Memorial Endowed Scholarship

  • Recipient must be enrolled in Hospitality Administration, Culinary Arts or related field
  • Must maintain a GPA of 2.75
  • Must have successfully completed one semester or 12 credit hours

Fine Arts Dept. Student Scholarship

To be eligible for this award:

  • Students must demonstrate financial need
  • Students must be enrolled in the Fine Arts program
  • Student must be an Arts major with 6 program level credit hours completed,
  • Students must have a minimum. 3.0 GPA
  • Program chair reviews all applicants to ensure program level classes
  • Students must also provide a thank you letter

For the Love of Chocolate Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship was created by the For the Love of Chocolate Foundation for Ivy Tech baking and pastry students.

  • The scholarship is intended to celebrate and support those students who volunteer their time and talent with the program.
  • Requires program chair approval/verification and a thank you letter.

Ford/EEOC Scholarship

  • In granting these scholarships, preference is to be given to Ford employees and their spouses and children
  • The scholarship funds may be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies, or equipment required for a student’s participation in a course or courses of instruction
  • If an applicant for this scholarship claims a Ford connection, the applicant must provide a completed verification form from Ford

Frank and Deborah Moman Collegian Military Veterans Scholarship - Established by Dr. Frank and Deborah Moman

  • Recipient must be a military veteran and demonstrate financial need
  • Must have completed at least 12 credit hours, and be currently enrolled in at least 12 credit hours, while maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better
  • Applicants must complete the Ivy Tech scholarship application

Previous or returning Moman Scholars who maintain eligibility will be given first preference

Futures Unlimited

Established as a statewide scholarship in 1992 for first-time Ivy Tech Community College students. Recipients must meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Dislocated worker
  • Minorities
  • Individuals receiving public assistance

General Student Scholarship

  • Recipient must demonstrate financial need and maintain a competitive GPA

General Studies Completion Scholarship

  • Recipients must be a declared General Studies major, enrolled in GENS 279
  • Applicant must compose 500 to 700 word essay that describes how the A.G.S degree supports their personal, academic and professional goals
  • Priority will be given to African-American and Latinx applicants

Greathouse Scholarship - Established by the Greathouse Family in memory of William Greathouse, Jr.

  • Recipients must be enrolled in the Hospitality Program or the Hotel Administration Program.
  • Must have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and have earned 24 credit hours
  • Students with disabilities will be given priority in the selection process

Halo Scholarship

  • Recipient must have a declared major
  • Successfully completed at least 9 credit hours and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
  • Preference given to previous Halo Scholars
  • Recipient must meet one or more of the following criteria:
    • Student must be working during enrollment
    • Single Parent
    • First generation in family to attend college
    • Enrolled in at least one college prep course
    • Demonstrates financial need

Hamilton County General Scholarship

This scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship awarded to five students enrolled at the Hamilton County Campus that demonstrates financial needs and maintains a competitive GPA. To be eligible for this award, students must:

  • Recipient must be enrolled in a certificate, technical certificate or degree-seeking program at the Ivy Tech Hamilton County Campus
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Must have filled out the Scholarship application

Harvey S. Poling Jr. Memorial Scholarship - Established in memory of Harvey S. Poling Jr.

This scholarship, held by the Ivy Tech Foundation, was established as a tribute to a veteran teacher and Ivy Tech administrator, Harvey S. Poling, Jr. to allow students in need to continue and finish their education in a timely fashion.
To be eligible for this award:

  • Students must be at least 28 years of age
  • Students must have completed at least one-half of their program of study and be enrolled at least part-time
  • Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Students must have a financial need and must have completed a current FAFSA

Healthcare Initiatives CNA Scholarships

The Healthcare Initiatives CNA Scholarship is a last dollar in scholarship for current or new Ivy Tech students pursuing CNA certification at Ivy Tech - Indianapolis.  Funds can cover tuition, books, fees, and program expenses such as, but not limited to, CPR/BLS certification, required COVID testing, and supplies.  

  • Students must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Must be enrolled in the CNA certificate program

Horton Inc. Scholarship - Established by Horton Holdings, Inc.

  • Recipients must have a declared major in Mechanical Engineering, Advance Manufacturing, Pre-Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours per semester and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Must have demonstrated financial need

Independent Insurance Agents of Central Indiana Scholarship

  • Recipients must attend an Ivy Tech location in the Central Indiana service area
  • Must be pursuing a degree or certificate in Insurance or Risk Management
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0

Indiana Black Legislative Caucus Scholarship - Established by the Indiana Black Legislative Caucus

  • Recipients must live in Marion County and attend the Indianapolis campus
  • Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate financial need

Indiana Center for Nursing Scholarship - Established by Nursing 2000

  • Recipient must be a full or part time student enrolled in the nursing program
  • Must demonstrate a commitment to working in nursing in Central Indiana area upon graduation
  • Applicants will be selected by the nursing program faculty

Indiana Minorities in Transportation

  • Student must be a minority student enrolled full-time with a minimum of 12 credit hours in one of the following programs: Pre-Engineering, Automotive Technology or Diesel Technology, Logistics, Machine Tool Technology, Business Administration
  • Student must have attended one of the following high schools: Pike High School, an IPS high school, or Perry Meridian High School
  • Student must be in good standing with the College and hold a minimum of 2.0 GPA
  • Student must write thank you letter to donor

Indianapolis Campus Student Memorial Scholarship

The Indianapolis Campus Student Memorial Scholarship was created to honor and memorialize Ivy Tech Community College students who have passed away. The campus wishes to honor their memory by providing scholarship funds to other Ivy Tech students so that their dedication to furthering their education will never be forgotten. This scholarship is open to all Central Indiana service area students who are dedicated to earning their college degree and to never stop learning. 

Indianapolis Insurance Program Scholarship

Local insurance industry professionals created this scholarship to provide students in the insurance program with a scholarship to help the next generation of insurance professionals. Students mist:

  • Be enrolled at Ivy Tech Indianapolis

James Lowes Scholarship - Established by the Indianapolis Student Government Association

  • Students with documented disabilities will be given priority in the selection process

Jeffrey Brooks Baking and Pastry Scholarship - Established by David and Sandra Brooks in memory of Jeffrey Brooks

  • Recipients must have a declared major in Baking and Pastry and be in good academic standing
  • Student with the greatest financial need will be given preference during the selection process

Jeff Bricker Culinary Arts Scholarship*

The Jeff Bricker Culinary Arts Scholarship is intended to award outstanding high school students in Indiana, providing a scholarship to attend Ivy Tech Community College Indianapolis' Culinary Arts and Hospitality Administration program. Scholars will be provided with:

  • Coverage of full tuition and fees
  • Costs for books, supplies and other required expenses
  • Additional wraparound support available 

To receive this scholarship, students must submit their application by June 15, 2021. Eligible applicants will have met the following criteria:

  • Complete a Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Level 1 course (preference will be given to students who have completed both Level 1 and Level 2 courses)
  • Participate in the ProStart/FCCLA Culinary Invitational
  • Submit high school transcripts, including attendance records
  • Demonstrate community involvement and engagement through volunteerism
  • Provide (2) letters of support from a teacher and an industry professional
  • Complete the scholarship application, including an essay demonstrating their passion for and interest in the industry.

Joylight, LLC Scholarship

Intended for Indianapolis and/or Terre Haute students who are studying either Fine Arts or General Studies. Students must meet the following requirements:

  • Maintain a GPA of at least 2.0, majoring in Fine Arts or General Studies
  • Be enrolled at the Indianapolis or Terre Haute campus
  • Have children or is over the age of 25

Kyle Gulley Public Safety Scholarship

  • Student must be pursuing a degree in Homeland Security/Public Safety program at one of the Greater Indianapolis campuses
  • Must be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or more

Lighthouse Scholarship Fund

Applicants must be new or returning students, meeting the following criteria:

  • Enrolled at one of the Ivy Tech Central Indiana campuses in a two-year AA degree program
  • Have suffered the loss of one or both parents or legal guardians
  • Demonstrate acceptable academic progress either at Ivy Tech or at their high school, if a new student (3.0 on a 4.0 scale)
  • Intend to transfer to a four-year degree program at an institution in Indiana

Louis S. Hensley Jr. Endowment

  • Be enrolled at one of the Ivy Tech Greater Indianapolis campuses in a program of study in the Business school
  • Have demonstrated academic commitment by maintaining a GPA of 2.75 or above
  • Complete the free application for Federal Student aid (FAFSA)

Mary Ann Lewis Memorial Scholarship

  • Student pursuing a nursing degree at either the Indianapolis campus or the Columbus campus
  • Student should be full time, degree seeking
  • Student should maintain a 2.75 GPA minimum
  • Student must also provide a thank you letter to the donor

Merkel Scholarship for ASAP Students

  • Recipients must be a high school graduate working toward an associate degree in order to transfer to a 4-year baccalaureate program or enter into the workforce
  • Must have a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Must submit scholarship application and essay
  • Student must be involved in and/or extracurricular activities

McFarling Foods Scholarship

  • Recipients must be enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College Indianapolis
  • Must have a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Must be enrolled in a Hospitality Administration certificate or degree program 

Michael Paul UpChurch Memorial Scholarship for HVAC - Established by anonymous donors in memory of Michael Paul UpChurch

  • Recipients must be enrolled at least part-time in the HVAC program
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
  • Students with the greatest financial need will be given priority during the selection process

NAAIA of Indiana Minority Scholarship

The National African-American Insurance Association (NAAIA) of Indiana Minority Scholarship was created to promote higher education opportunities for African-American students interested in careers within the insurance industry. Consistent with the mission of NAAIA, the scholarship will encourage more African-American students to strongly consider careers within the insurance industry.

  • Applicant must be an African-American or minority student
  • Pursuing a degree or certificate in Insurance, Risk Management, Business, Actuarial Science, Finance, IT, or Marketing and Communications. 
  • Applicant must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA

Nina Scholars Program*

Established by the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust. The Nina Scholars Program provides financial support toward the cost of attendance for up to four years at Ivy Tech including books, fees and a living allowance of $3,200 annually.

Odd Fellows and Rebekah Endowed Scholarship                                                      

The Odd Fellows Scholarship is provided by the Independent Order of Odd Fellows of Indiana.  Eligible students must:

  • Be enrolled at one of the following Ivy Tech Community College campuses: Valparaiso, South Bend/Elkhart, Ft. Wayne, Kokomo, Lafayette, Marion, Muncie, Anderson, Indianapolis, Terre Haute, Columbus, Bloomington, Madison, Sellersburg, or Evansville
  • Meet at least one of the following requirements: Have experienced the death of one or both parents before the age of 18 or have experienced the death of a spouse.

Opportunity Endowed Scholarship - Established by David B. Noland for at-risk students

Recipients must meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Work 30 hours or more per week
  • Be a single parent
  • Be the first in their family to attend college
  • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours and complete their degree from Ivy Tech within four years

Pamela Jursik Nursing Scholarship

Pamela is a retired nurse, and is dedicated to supporting students who have chosen the same career path.  The Pamela Jursik Nursing Scholarship is intended for:

  • Ivy Tech Indianapolis students pursuing an Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Who have completed at least 24 credit hours
  • Nursing students who live on the south side of Indianapolis will be given preference, but all are encouraged to apply.

Peggy and Byron Myers Endowed Scholarship

Established by Peggy and Byron Myers – this scholarship supports students who are either working, single parents, first generation college students, or are enrolled in remedial courses. Students must meet the following requirements:

  • Recipients must have a declared major, completed at least 9 credit hours, maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and be able to meet financial aid eligibility requirements at Ivy Tech
  • Recipients will be asked to write a thank you letter to the Myers upon receiving the scholarship and will be invited to meet with them at an Ivy Tech function

Must demonstrate at least one of the following risk factors:

  • Be working while enrolled in school
  • Be a single parent
  • Be a first generation college student

PEO Scholarship for At-Risk Females - Established by the CF Chapter of PEO

  • Recipient must have completed a minimum of 9 credit hours and has demonstrated financial need

Recipient must demonstrate at least one of the following risk factors:

  • Be working while enrolled in school
  • Be a single parent
  • Be a first generation college student

PK U.S.A, Inc. Memorial Scholarship

  • PK U.S.A., Inc. employees (the parent or grandparent of the Ivy Tech student) must be full-time employees who have been employed with PK U.S.A. for longer than one year. Employment status will be verified
  • Students must be high school graduates with a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Students will participate in a small group panel interview as part of the selection process
  • Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA to continue receiving the PK U.S.A., Inc. Memorial Scholarship
  • Students must also provide a thank you letter to the donor

Reach for the Stars

This scholarship is awarded to two students from Ben Davis High School in the amount of $1,000 per year for two years. To be eligible for this award students must:

  • Be a graduate of Ben Davis High School

Road to Success Scholarship

Established by the Academic Advancement Department

  • Recipients must have successfully passed a minimum of 12 credit hours and have successfully completed at least one developmental English course
  • Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Recipient must be employed while at Ivy Tech and currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours

Robert Longardner Scholarship

Recipients must:

  • Earn 16 credit hours
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA
  • Major in Design Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Pre-Engineering
  • Be enrolled full time
  • Have completed the FAFSA

Robinson Memorial Scholarship

Established in memory of Willie & Vera Robinson

  • Recipients must demonstrate financial need and be currently enrolled full-time

ROI Campaign General Endowed Scholarship

The ROI Campaign Initiative is set up to help financially needy students enter Ivy Tech and continue their studies through graduation. Students must meet the following criteria:

  • Must meet financial aid requirements
  • Completed FAFSA
  • Completed scholarship application

Sonia Dickerson Scholarship

  • Recipient must be a new Ivy Tech Student and enrolled in a health-related program
  • Must be a resident of Marion County
  • Preference will be given to IPS graduates
  • Applicants must submit an essay discussing what brought them to Ivy Tech and their decision to enter a health-related field, as well as their goals
  • Students must demonstrate financial need

Student-Alumni Council Scholarship

This scholarship is intended for students who are serving on the Student-Alumni Council (SAC) and are actively furthering the mission of SAC.

Sysco Indianapolis Scholarship

  • Be enrolled at Ivy Tech Indianapolis campus
  • Have a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Be enrolled in a Hospitality Administration certificate or degree program 

Teachers Credit Union (Indianapolis & Greencastle Campuses Only)

This scholarship is sponsored by the Teacher's Credit Union Foundation. Teachers Credit Union has established a legacy of changing lives for Ivy Tech students at eight Ivy Tech campuses with nearby TCU branches. TCU has grown to become Indiana's largest Credit Union with more than $2 billion in assets with branches throughout the state of Indiana and Michigan.

To be eligible for this award:

  • Students must be enrolled full-time
  • Students must be degree seeking
  • Students must be in good academic standing
  • Students must submit one letter of recommendation
  • Students must agree to allow Ivy Tech Community College to share recipient contact information with TCU

The Forty and Eight Voiture Locale 145 Nursing Scholarship

The Forty and Eight Voiture Locale 145 Nursing Scholarship is established to:

  • Provide scholarship support to nursing students attending the Indianapolis campus of Ivy Tech Community College.

The Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is made available through the generosity of The Gene Haas Foundation. Gene is committed to supporting manufacturing education and the manufacturing industry and seeks to grow American manufacturing by decreasing the skills gap.

  • The scholarship supports NIMS credentialing for students in the CNC Machining program.

Tom Wood Automotive Scholarship for Automotive Technology Students

The Tom Wood Automotive Scholarship Fund was created in 2022 for students who:

  • Attend Ivy Tech Community College Indianapolis.
  • Are pursuing a career in automotive technology in Central Indiana.

Wayne and Barbara Jennings Endowed Scholarship

Established by Wayne and Barbara Jennings

  • Recipients must be residents of Boone or Hendricks County
  • Must be enrolled 3/4 time and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
  • Recipient may not be receiving grants, third party payment, or other awards equaling 50% of their direct educational expenses

William T. Harger Endowed Scholarship

William T. Harger (1904-1994) earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in science and education from Butler University, Indianapolis. He taught chemistry, physics, and mathematics at Noblesville High School for 16 years. Summer farming activities eventually grew into full time seed production and the seed processing facilities known as Harger Farms, Inc. Mr. Harger was a civic leader, church, and community supporter. 

This scholarship is made possible because of Mr. Harger's financial success achieved through an excellent education and a strong work ethic. It was established in his honor by his daughter, Susannah Harger Dillon (Mrs. James C.).

  • This scholarship covers tuition, books, and fees. 
  • Should the student choose to earn a bachelor’s degree at a state sponsored university in Indiana, this scholarship would follow him or her with the intent to cover the tuition cost of six (6) credit hours per semester for four (4) semesters.

Working Man's Friend

Established by Betz + Blevins

A $500 scholarship award from the Working Man's Friend Endowed Scholarship should be awarded to student(s) in the fall semester of each year with one or more of the following risk factors:

  • Work 20 hours or more per week
  • Be a single parent
  • Be a first-generation college student
  • Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be enrolled part time (11 credit hours or less)
  • Applicant must demonstrate financial need

Priority should be given to previous Working Man's Friend scholars, if they have applied. Students who apply should have earned at least 30 hours of academic credit and have a declared major.

Yvonne Perkins Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is made available through the generosity of memorial gifts and the Yvonne Perkins family. Ms. Perkins was a strong supporter of Ivy Tech, where she served as President of the Regional Board of Trustees and co-chaired an incredibly successful campaign. Ms. Perkins was a true champion of student success. Eligible recipients must meet the following criteria:

  • In good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or more
  • Degree seeking
  • Demonstrate financial need

 


Emergency Fund Scholarships Only

Linda Scott's Helping Hand

  • Funds are to be used for financial assistance for students attending one of the Greater Indianapolis campuses
  • Financial assistance is defined as tuition, books, and/or supplies. Student must have a minimum GPA of 2.5

Rose Mays Emergency Fund

  • Minimum GPA 2.0
  • Must be an African-American
  • Must be full Pell eligible
  • Must be single with at least one legal dependent

Ivy Tech Student Emergency Fund

  • Must be enrolled as part-time student at minimum - need based
