All scholarships require a 2.5 GPA and a FASFA on file unless otherwise noted in the description. Scholarships are applicable for students taking courses in Evansville, Tell City or Princeton unless otherwise noted in the description. Students can apply for scholarships by visiting their MyIvy page > Financial Aid > Scholarships.
 

School of Business, Logistics, and Supply Chain

School of Business, Logistics, and Supply Chain Scholarship

Full or part-time students pursuing a business degree; must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and 12 hours program completion.

Atlas World Group, Inc. Scholarship

New or continuing students with financial need enrolled in school of business.

Banterra Bank Scholarship

Applicants of the Banterra Bank Scholarship must be degree seeking at the Evansville Service Area (Evansville, Tell City, Princeton) and be enrolled in School of Business. Full or part-time students pursuing a business degree (Accounting, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Business Operational Applications Technology, Supply Chain Management/Logistics). Student must have a 2.5 GPA and have a FAFSA on file.

Minnie Butler Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Minnie Butler Memorial Endowed Scholarship seeks to support Ivy Tech Evansville female students who are degree seeking in the school of business. Preference is given to single mothers.

 

Barbara J. Hilton, R.N. School of Nursing

Nannette Dahlgren Scholarship

Award varies for tuition, books or fees associated with a student degree seeking in nursing program.

Priority award to students who are single parents and demonstrate financial need. 

Deaconess Medical Staff Nursing Scholarship

Awarded to two Ivy Tech students who are employees with Deaconess Medical Staff.

Evansville Surgical Associates Scholarship

Degree seeking student within the Frank L. Hilton, MD School of Health Sciences or the Barbara J. Hilton, RN, School of Nursing. Preference shall be given to employees of Evansville Surgical Associates or their dependents.

Fifth Third Bank Workforce Development Scholarship

Students must be degree seeking in the Evansville service area and be enrolled in Computer Science, Nursing, Health Science, or programs in the School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering, and Applied Science .  Preference shall be given to students participating in Ivy Tech’s Achieve Your Degree program with Memorial Baptist Church and New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. If there are too few students identified from the partner churches, then the scholarships may be awarded to students from underrepresented backgrounds. Student must have a FAFSA on file; Not yet earned a degree. Scholarship is renewable based on continued persistence towards degree and major still aligns with those programs previously mentioned.

Forty & Eight Nursing Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to one student seeking a Nursing degree at Ivy Tech. Preferred recipient be a grandchild, child or member of the Forty & Eight Club. If no members qualify, then it is preferred that a veteran or the child or grandchild of a veteran receive the award.

Barbara J. Hilton Scholarship

Two students pursuing a degree in Nursing will be awarded a “full ride” based on nursing program GPA requirements, FAFSA on file and financial need.  Preference giving to students who are single parents or parents. Should the recipient continue to meet the criteria, the scholarship may be renewed.

Holiday Management Foundation Scholarship

Students must be pursuing a CNA or QMA certification.  No FAFSA or GPA requirements.  If no students fit this criteria, the scholarship may be awarded to one or more students pursuing nursing (LPN, ASN) degrees.  Nursing students would then need to complete a FAFSA to be eligible.

Jean O. and Donald B. Korb Family Scholarship

Two students will be selected.  One student must be a degree seeking student within the Barbara J. Hilton, RN, School of Health Sciences studying nursing and the other student within the School of Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Education . 

Dr. Carl C. Lyles, Sr. Scholarship Endowment

Students must be African-American, pursuing a degree in Nursing, have a minimum GPA of 2.5, and have a FAFSA on file. If no African-American Nursing students apply, criteria will be widen to consider African-American students enrolled in healthcare programs (exercise science, health care support, medical assistant, paramedic/EMT, and surgical technology).

Helen Bastnagel Miller & Thomas R. Miller and Mark & Jennifer Browning Nursing Scholarship

Applicants of the Helen Bastnagel Miller & Thomas R. Miller and Mark & Jennifer Browning Nursing scholarship must complete the Ivy Tech Community College scholarship application. Students must be a degree seeking Nursing student (Associate of Science or Practical Nursing); have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have a FAFSA on file.

Barbara J. Hilton, R.N. School of Nursing Scholarship

Students pursuing a nursing degree; must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and 12 hours program completion. Consideration given for professional and community service and/or exceptional personal circumstances.

Frederick & Margaret Starnes Memorial Scholarship

Applicants of the Frederick & Margaret Starnes Memorial Scholarship must be enrolled in a Barbara J. Hilton, R.N., School of Nursing or in a Frank L. Hilton, M.D., School of Health Sciences program. Student may be degree seeking or certificate seeking with a GPA of 2.5 and a FAFSA on file with Ivy Tech. Students must complete the general essay.

Vanderburgh County Veteran’s Nursing Scholarship

Applicants of the Vanderburgh County Veteran's Nursing Scholarship must be degree seeking in nursing. Preference goes to recipients that are a grandchild, child or member of a military branch.  

 

Frank L. Hilton, M.D. School of Health Sciences

Thomas and Carolyn Fritz Scholarship Endowment

Students must be enrolled in the Frank L. Hilton, MD, School of Health Sciences.

Jean O. and Donald B. Korb Family Scholarship

Two students will be selected.  One student must be a degree seeking student within the Barbara J. Hilton, RN, School of Health Sciences studying nursing and the other student within the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. 

Frank L. Hilton, M.D. School of Health Sciences Scholarship

Applicants of the Frederick & Margaret Starnes Memorial Scholarship must be enrolled in a Barbara J. Hilton, R.N., School of Nursing or in a Frank L. Hilton, M.D., School of Health Sciences program. Student may be degree seeking or certificate seeking with a GPA of 2.5 and a FAFSA on file with Ivy Tech. Students must complete the general essay.

Conway Family Scholarship

Student must be pursuing a health science degree, been enrolled at the college for at least one semester, and submit an essay addressing the following: "How I will use my degree to improve my community."

Evansville Surgical Associates Scholarship

Degree seeking student within the Frank L. Hilton, MD School of Health Science or the School of Nursing. Preference shall be given to employees of Evansville Surgical Associates or their dependents.

Tri-State Orthopaedic Surgeons Scholarship

Student must be pursuing a degree in the Surgical Technology.

Dr. Carl C. Lyles, Sr. Scholarship Endowment

Students must be African-American, pursuing a degree in Nursing, have a minimum GPA of 2.5, and have a FAFSA on file. If no African-American Nursing students apply, criteria will be widen to consider African-American students enrolled in healthcare programs (exercise science, health care support, medical assistant, paramedic/EMT, and surgical technology).

Joseph E. Rood, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

Student must be a degree seeking student from Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey or Gibson County enrolled in Paramedic Science Program; must be enrolled in PAR 111 to PAR 221.

Kirby Russell Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must be degree seeking in the Paramedic Science program.  Should the recipient continue to meet the criteria, the scholarship may be renewed.

Earl and Florence McMichael Scholarship

The Florence McMichael Scholarship seeks to support students seeking a certificate, technical certificate or associate’s degree within the Frank L. Hilton, M.D., School of Health Sciences. Students must have a 2.5 GPA or above. Candidates must demonstrate financial need which includes having a payment plan with the College and/or students loans, paying out of pocket and has received minimal to no financial aid from federal or state resources. Preference is given to students (male and female) who are single parents. Scholarships are renewable to students who meet the original criteria as listed above.

Ervin and Lelan Lautner Memorial Scholarship

One student from Tell City High School and one student from Perry Central High School will be awarded. Students must have earned dual credits in: Manufacturing, Production and Operations; Advanced Automation and Robotics; Industrial Technology (Mechanical, Electrical or Welding); Building Construction Technology or HVAC; or Healthcare Specialist. Each scholarship covers courses at Ivy Tech campuses in Evansville and/or Tell City that lead to Certificate, Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in one of the following areas:

  1. Manufacturing, Production and Operations
  2. Advanced Automation and Robotics
  3. Industrial Technology (Mechanical, Electrical or Welding)
  4. Building Construction Technology or HVAC
  5. Healthcare Specialist (including Medical Assisting, Paramedic Science or Surgical Technology)
  6. Information Technology
  7. Automotive or Diesel Technology

In order for recipients to continue to receive the award each consecutive term, recipients must still be enrolled at Ivy Tech campuses in Evansville and/or Tell City; having not yet earned a Certificate, Technical Certification or Associate’s degree in an unrelated field; continues to have a major in: Manufacturing, Production and Operations, Advanced Automation and Robotics, Industrial Technology (Mechanical, Electrical or Welding), Building Construction Technology or HVAC or Healthcare Specialist. Priority awards to students with financial need and no near-term plans for transferring to a 4-year college.

 

School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering, and Applied Science

Crescent-Cresline-Wabash Plastics Foundation Scholarship

Students must be enrolled within the School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering, and Applied Science and experience financial need.

Cruise-In Scholarship

Students must be enrolled in the Automotive Technology Program. Students must have completed 24 credit hours, have a 3.0 GPA, and submit an essay addressing the following: "Why I like the Automotive Industry."

Donald L. Duell Memorial Scholarship

Preference to High school seniors pursuing degree in Automotive Technology.

Applicant must submit a 250-300 word essay which explains why they are planning a career in automotive repair and service. Renewable with 3.0 GPA, 24 earned hours completed.

Fifth Third Bank Workforce Development Scholarship

School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering, and Applied Science Scholarship

Full or part-time students pursuing a technology degree; must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and 12 hours program completion.

Toyota Industrial Scholarship

Awarded to one student of diverse backgrounds (ethnic minority) who is enrolled full-time in the Industrial Technology/Maintenance program.  Women and Veterans are encouraged to apply. Applicants may not be currently employed in an industrial maintenance position. Renewable if program qualifications/standards are met.

Sloane B. Zirkle Scholarship

Awarded to one student pursuing a degree in Automotive Technology.

Indiana and Illinois Tire Dealers Association Scholarship

Automotive students who are a resident of Indiana or Illinois, have completed at least 12 credit hours and maintained a 2.5 GPA.

Anita & Bill Doty Engineering Scholarship

The Anita & Bill Doty Engineering Scholarship was established to support incoming or recent high school graduates who intend to pursue a degree in engineering at Ivy Tech Community College Evansville campus and who plan to transfer to a 4-year institution to earn their bachelor degree in engineering. This scholarship will be awarded to full time students who are on track to complete their Associate’s degree in engineering in two years. Scholarship is renewable based on student maintaining criteria requirements.

Ervin and Lelan Lautner  Memorial Scholarship

Two $5,000 (maximum) scholarships will be awarded in the Spring of 2020

  • One scholarship to a Tell City High School graduate, and
  • One scholarship to a Perry Central High School graduate.

Each scholarship covers courses at Ivy Tech campuses in Evansville and/or Tell City that lead to Certificate, Technical Certificate or Associate of Applied Science Degree in one of the following areas:

  • Manufacturing, Production and Operations

The scholarships expire 40 months after the initial award date or when the $5,000 limit is reached.

Scholarship award priority will be based on:

  • Students completing Early College Pathway courses prior to high school graduation
  • Students with financial need,
  • Students with no near-term plans for transferring to a 4-year college

Two students will be selected.  One student must be a degree seeking student within the Barbara J. Hilton, RN, School of Health Sciences studying nursing and the other student within the School of Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Education . 

Dr. Michael E. Petty  School of Liberal Arts & Science Scholarship

Student(s) must be majoring in either Liberal Arts or General Studies, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and have completed 30 credit hours.

School of Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Education Scholarship

Full and part time students with financial need earning a degree in liberal arts and sciences with 3.0 GPA and 12 hours program completion.

Ann Y. & Jennings D. Carter Scholarship

Deserving students who must have financial assistance in order to obtain a college education and who hope to continue their studies and to obtain a degree from University of Southern Indiana.

Deserving students who must have financial assistance in order to obtain a college education and who hope to continue their studies and to obtain a degree from University of Southern Indiana.

Jennings D. Carter and Josephine K. Carter Scholarship

Deserving students who must have financial assistance in order to obtain a college education and who hope to continue their studies and to obtain a degree from University of Southern Indiana.

Culinary Arts Scholarship

Eligible students will have earned dual credit at their respective high school in Culinary Arts or are a second year Culinary Arts degree seeking student.

Captain Henry Vanderburgh Chapter of the National Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship

Students with financial need enrolled in Environmental Design.

Renewable for one year subject to availability of funds.

Sonya Rine Memorial Scholarship

Full or part-time student pursuing degree in Environmental/Interior Design with preference to student 25 years-old or more; have completed 6 hours in program. Renewable based on 3.0 GPA.

 

School of Information Technology

Athena Scholarship

Full time degree seeking senior female student with 3.0 GPA. Interested in helping other females on campus.  Creativity in classroom; contributes time and service to community. Essay, resume, and (2) two letters of recommendation required. Must attend Athena/Chamber recognition event.

Jimmie D. Brantley Memorial Scholarship

The Jimmie D. Brantley Memorial Endowed scholarship shall be awarded to one or more students enrolled at Ivy Tech Evansville who demonstrate financial need. 

Chancellor’s Scholarship

Students eligible based on merit or financial need.  Renewable subject to academic performance and availability of funds.

The East Side Optimist Club of Evansville Harold J. Kitzmann Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to full-time student(s) who is a graduating senior or someone under the age of 22 residing in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, or Gibson counties, and have a minimum GPA of 2.0. Renewable for two consecutive years as long as student has passing grades and continues to be full time.

Peg Ehlen Scholarship

Students taking 9 or more hours who have successfully completed 12 credit hours with 3.0 GPA or better within the past year at Ivy Tech in Evansville. FASFA required.

Jacob, Lillian, and Nathan M. Frank Scholarship Trust

 

Students with financial need residing in Vanderburgh County.

Hickey Alumni Scholarship

Ivy Tech graduates taking additional classes at Ivy Tech Community College.

Thomas P. and Donna W. Lynch Scholarship

Scholarship shall be awarded to one or more students enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College  Evansville.  Recipients shall have financial need and reside in Vanderburgh, Posey, Gibson, or Warrick Counties in Indiana.

Loral and James McCarty Endowed Scholarship

Deserving students of promise and financial need.

Luise Schnakenburg Scholarship

Recipient must be a second year student.

Student Government Association

Full and part time students with preference given to students with a history of school leadership activity; letter of recommendation from advisor to Student Government Association attesting to applicant's school leadership activity or statement from applicant attesting to school leadership activity (one-page, double-spaced). 

Trustee Leadership Scholarship

Students demonstrate leadership abilities. Students must provide a letter of recommendation from a faculty member and complete a one-page double-spaced essay on student leadership.

Servant Leader Scholarship

Students must be pursuing a degree in any program, must have completed one semester at Ivy Tech Community College Evansville, submit a letter of recommendation from a faith leader, and answer a series of questions on application. Scholarship is renewable for one year if applicant(s) meet all original requirements for this scholarship.  No GPA requirements.

Dr. Daniel L. and Mrs. Kathy J. Schenk Scholarship Fund

Students must be a single mother with 30+ hours of earned credit.

Latino Collaboration Table & Friends Scholarship

Must be degree seeking in any program at the Evansville campus; first or second generation Latino or Hispanic; enrolled in at least 6 credit hours; minimum GPA of 2.5;  received or participated in at least one of the following: honors, awards, extra-curricular activities or community service; financial need; essay of maximum of 300 words on a problem facing the Latino community and what you can do to help make positive changes; one letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor/ advisor or instructor/ or a clergy person or friend. No FAFSA required.

Sgt. Brock Babb Fallen Heroes Memorial Scholarship

Student must be a veteran with an honorable discharge and in good academic standing at Ivy Tech Community College Evansville.  No GPA requirements.

Dolores DeWitt Browning & Charles Browning and Mark & Jennifer Browning Scholarship

Applicants must be degree seeking.

Jennifer Miller Browning and Mark DeWitt Browning Scholarship

Applicants must complete the Ivy Tech Community College scholarship application. Students must be a degree seeking student; have a minimum GPA of 2.5; and have a FAFSA on file.

Allison “Ali” Marie Carter Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must be degree seeking; have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have a FAFSA on file.

Evansville Northside Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship

Student must be degree seeking at the Ivy Tech Community college, Evansville Campus only.

Futures Unlimited Scholarship

Students must be a degree seeking student; enrolled part-time; preference for first-time students. Preference also given to minorities.

Richard M. Hettenbach Memorial Scholarship

Applicants of the Richard M. Hettenbach Memorial scholarship must be degree seeking at Ivy Tech Community College Evansville. Must complete the Ivy Tech Community College scholarship application. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have a FAFSA on file.

Thelma B. Horton Scholarship

Applicants of the Thelma B. Horton scholarship must complete the Ivy Tech Community College scholarship application. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have a FAFSA on file.

Gerald and Louise Lamkin Scholarship

Applicants of the Gerald and Louise Lamkin Scholarship must complete the Ivy Tech Community College scholarship application. Students must be a degree seeking student; have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have a FAFSA on file.

Tom & Helen Miller and Mark & Jennifer Browning Scholarship

Applicants of the Tom & Helen Miller and Mark & Jennifer Browning scholarship must be degree seeking. Must complete the Ivy Tech Community College scholarship application. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have a FAFSA on file.

Harvey S. Poling, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

 

Students must be a degree seeking student and at least 28 years old; have a minimum GPA of 3.0; and have completed half of his/her program requirements.

Elna Ryals Scholarship

Applicants of the Elna Ryals scholarship must be degree seeking at the Evansville Campus (Evansville, Princeton, Tell City). Must complete the Ivy Tech Community College scholarship application. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have a FAFSA on file.

Santon Trust Scholarship

Applicants of the Santon Trust scholarship must be degree seeking at the Evansville Campus (Evansville, Princeton, Tell City).  Must complete the Ivy Tech Community College scholarship application.  Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have a FAFSA on file.

Mamie Young Scholarship

Students must be degree seeking and living in Vanderburgh County.  No GPA requirements.

Paul & Holly Watzlavik Endowed Scholarship

Full time student (12 hours +/taking 30hrs per school year) with the intent to complete their degree in two-years. FAFSA on file, 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need. Scholarship renewal is contingent upon maintaining full-time enrollment, on time 2 year graduation and GPA requirements.

Z. Olen and Inez G. Pumphrey Foundation Scholarship

Awarded to degree seeking students taking classes at the Ivy Tech Princeton Instructional Site.

Tell City Campus Retention

Awarded to a degree seeking student taking at least six credit hours in the Fall Semester at the Ivy Tech Tell City Campus and enrolled in at least six credit hours for the Spring Semester. Scholarship awarded in Spring Semester only.
