The mission of the Workforce Certification and Assessment Centers within Ivy Tech Community College is to provide high quality, focused education and training that result in portable credentials for students and the community seeking jobs or job upgrades in a variety of skill areas. Last year, Ivy Tech's Workforce Certification and Assessment Centers statewide administered over 43,000 certification exams and 222,000 assessments. There are currently 26 centers in Indiana, bring testing services to your community.

The following exams can be taken at an Ivy Tech Assessment Center. Though this is an extensive list, it does not list all available exams. Please contact your local center for available exams and hours for delivery.

Rules and Regulations

When coming to test, please have a valid government issued ID with you. Depending on the exam, you may need to provide a second ID. Most certifications require one unexpired government issued ID with a picture and signature and a second ID with a signature. Please check with your test vendor or local Center for requirements.

The following items are not allowed in the Testing Center:
  • Cell Phones
  • Recorders
  • PDAs
  • Watch
  • Other Electronic Devices
  • Purse
  • Hat
  • Books/Dictionary
  • Notes
  • Food/Drinks
  • Or Other Personal Belongings

Lockers are available for storage of items. The Center will provide a calculator, scratch paper, and pencils when allowed by the test vendor or sponsor. If you are unsure of what item(s) to bring with you on test day, please contact the Testing Center.

No weapons are allowed in the Center and must be kept in your vehicle. Ivy Tech Community College is a smoke free institution. Testing is under video, audio and proctor surveillance. For information on ADA accommodations, please contact your regional testing center.
