Students who plan to complete the requirements of their degree at the end of Fall 2022, Spring 2023, or Summer 2023 semesters may participate. There is no summer Commencement Ceremony.
Valparaiso University Athletics Recreation Center has limited parking availability. Special guests and those with government-issued accessibility parking tags will be able to park near the Recreation Center.
Free parking and cart shuttle service to and from the will be offered for graduates and guests.
Accessibility Parking: For graduates and guests in need of accessible parking, please note that there is limited parking located around the Valparaiso University Athletic Recreation Center and it is exclusively reserved for those with a State-issued disability parking tag. Ivy Tech Security will be onsite to help direct traffic near the Athletic Center

An online QR Code will be provided at the Commencement Ceremony to view the Program.
Note: students must have a completed graduation application on file to be awarded their credentials, receive a Commencement RSVP link, and appear in the Commencement program.
Students participating in the Commencement Ceremony are required to wear a black cap and gown (also called regalia). Orders can be placed for pick-up in the bookstore or to be shipped to your home address.
Cost: Varies Includes Cap, Gown, and Tassel
Order by March 15 for in-store pick up
Order by April 17 for shipping orders (delivery to home address)
