  • Graduates must RSVP here.

  • Order Your Cap & Gown

    • Students can place their regalia by clicking here.
    • The order deadline will be listed for each campus on the website.
    • Students will have the option to order and pay on-line, and have the regalia shipped to their home, or place the order online, but set up pick and payment in store. 
    • Student Regalia cost is $45.98 which includes the Cap, Gown, and Tassel. Souvenir Tassels are available as well for $5.98.
    • Regalia Deadlines: Ship to Store: March 26, 2023; Ship to Home: April 21, 2023

    Regalia Information
    All participants are required to wear a black graduation cap and gown. It must fit and be zipped prior to the Commencement ceremony beginning.

    Tassel colors

    • Associate degrees: SOLID GREEN
    • Technical certificates: SOLID WHITE
    • Certificates: SOLID GRAY
    • Phi Theta Kappa students will wear white or green tassels, which correspond to technical certificate and associate degree, respectively.

    Honor Cords

    • Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher as of the fall semester are eligible for honor cords.
    • Phi Theta Kappa Stoles
    • Graduates should plan to arrive by 6 p.m., then check in and be in line no later than 6:30 p.m.
    • Graduates will be lined up by school and program
    • Ceremony begins at 7 p.m.
    • There is no place to keep personal belongings during the ceremony. Please leave these items with friends or family members.
    • Graduates will be led into the ceremony in a processional and you will sit in the order in which you line up.
    • You will be directed to the front when it is time for you to receive your diploma.
    • Photos will be taken by a professional photographer of graduates receiving their diploma. These will be made available free of charge on this website about a month after the ceremony.
    • Graduates will be directed to return to their seat until the end of the ceremony, when everyone will process out of the stadium.
    • You will meet your guests on the second floor concourse following the ceremony.

    There is currently no limit to the number of guests that may be invited. Return here to see any updates that may occur closer to the time of the ceremony.

    Photography

    Ivy Tech partners with Black Pixel Studios, a photography company that will be in attendance at Commencement taking photos of each graduate celebrating his or her special moment. These photos will be available for free download on the Evansville drop-down of ivytech.edu/graduation by June

    Personal Photography/Video Encouraged
    Ivy Tech Community College wants graduates, families, and friends to enjoy this special evening at the Ford Center. Personal photography is also encouraged, and there are no restrictions on personal flash photography or video before, during, or after Commencement. Please post to social media using #IvyTechGrad.

    Live Streaming of the event will take place. A link will be posted ahead of the event.
