Center for Student Success

What can the Center for Student Success do for you?

The Center for Student Success is staffed by Success Coaches who are here to help you reach your personal, academic, and career goals. We take a holistic approach to coaching, guiding students through better self-understanding, clarifying areas for growth or improvement, providing beneficial information and resources, and offering support throughout a student’s journey at Ivy Tech.

Here are some of the topics we work on with students:

  • Developing better time management skills
  • Setting achievable goals
  • Improving study and note taking skills
  • Learning test taking strategies and managing test anxiety
  • Understanding emotional intelligence
  • Dealing with Zoom burnout
  • Working through procrastination
  • Making time for self-care

We also help students understand the SAP appeal process (to regain financial aid eligibility) and assist students who would like to file an appeal.

Our Success Coaches are here to ensure that you have the best possible experience at Ivy Tech. Please take advantage of all we have to offer!
