Since its inception, Ivy Tech Community College has evolved from a small post-secondary vocational school into a comprehensive community college.
In 1966, 367 students were enrolled in the College’s Central Indiana region. Today, more than 20,000 students attend classes. Ivy Tech Community College Central Indiana has five full service campuses, located in Indianapolis, Franklin, Greencastle, Lawrence, and Noblesville, as well as multiple community locations. In total, there are 11 sites throughout the Central Indiana region at which Ivy Tech Community College offers day, evening, and weekend classes.
Ivy Tech’s associate degree and technical certificate curricula provide students with a broad range of affordable courses and degree programs. From a single class to an associate degree, Ivy Tech offers its students affordable tuition, flexible class schedules, experienced instructors, small class sizes, transfer opportunities, training, and programs that meet the needs of the Central Indiana community.
Ivy Tech Central Indiana brings educational opportunities to residents of Marion, Hamilton, Hancock, Putnam, Shelby, Johnson, Morgan, Hendricks, and Boone counties.
