The Learning Centers at Ivy Tech Community College-Central Indiana on the North Meridian and Lawrence campuses offer free tutoring services to any student currently enrolled at Ivy Tech. Our mission is to foster active learning in an open and friendly environment. The academic support we provide leads to greater success and higher achievement for our students.

We offer free tutoring in math, English, and other subjects as well as help with computer-related tasks. Our qualified tutors are available to assist students one-on-one and in small groups, and no appointments are necessary to work with tutors. In addition, computers are available for student use as are other resources, such as textbook and various handouts.

Supplemental Instruction - We know how to help you succeed.

Supplemental Instruction is a free academic assistance program which is offered in courses in the Schools of Business, Fine Arts and Design, Health Sciences, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Public and Social Services, and Technology. 

The program provides group study sessions facilitated by a student who has successfully completed the class and who has been trained to conduct Supplemental Instruction sessions.

Staffed by Ivy Tech English faculty, the writing center serves as a resource center for writing that helps students gain confidence and take control of the writing process by providing tips, tools, strategies and techniques to use at every stage, from brainstorming the initial ideas, to developing a thesis, to structuring a cogent argument, and on through revising a draft.

The Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) at Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast provides academic support services at no cost to current students.
