Brainfuse Online Tutoring
Brainfuse is an online, 24-hour tutoring service, free to Ivy Tech students. It connects you with an expert tutor the minute you need help. It’s easy to use and can be accessed from any internet-enabled computer or mobile device.
As an Ivy Tech student, you get 25 free hours of 24/7 online tutoring through Brainfuse. They also offer live writing help, drop-off essay review, test prep, ESOL writing support, and more.

How do I access tutoring?

Connect to Brainfuse from the main page of your IvyLearn profile. You’ll be automatically logged into your account.

In the Live Help box, select your topic and subject, then click Connect. You can also select Tutoring Schedule or Preferences to manage your selection.

During your tutoring session, you will have access to the Brainfuse Whiteboard, which provides tools that make it easy to work with your tutor. You’ll have options to share your screen, upload files, send messages, and more.
How much does tutoring cost?
Tutoring is free for students and sponsored by Ivy Tech to support your academic success. You get access to 25 hours of tutoring each term that you are actively enrolled in Ivy Tech courses. If you use all of your allotted tutoring hours, you can request additional time by contacting online-tutoring-requests@ivytech.edu.
