Program Learning Outcomes
- Develop the skills and craftsmanship needed to machine parts to industry standards of tolerance and finish using manual and computer-controlled machine tools.
- Read and interpret standard ANSI and ISO blueprints used in the machining industry.
- Use industry standard measuring devices and techniques to measure workpieces.
- Collaborate effectively with others to plan, contribute to, and complete tasks as part of a technical team.
- Identify, analyze, and apply appropriate tools and techniques to solve defined technical problems.
- Develop and deliver clear written, oral, and graphical communications in both technical and general contexts; locate and interpret technical documents and standards.
