Important steps to participate in Commencement
- Students must have a completed graduation application on file by Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in order to receive their RSVP link for Commencement. To apply for graduation, visit MyIvy and search Apply to Graduate.
- RSVP to attend Commencement by Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Students who have a completed graduation application on file will receive the RSVP link via their Ivy Tech email.
Please Note - Students who plan to complete the requirements of their degree at the end of Fall 2023, Spring 2024, or Summer 2024 semesters are invited to participate. There is no summer or fall Commencement Ceremony.

- Students can place orders for their regalia by clicking here.
- The order deadlines are: March 15 to pick up your regalia at the campus bookstore. April 5 to have regalia shipped to your home.
- Student Regalia cost is $54.98 which includes the Cap, Gown, and Tassel. Additional items such as Graduation Packages, announcements, and diploma frames are also available at the link above.

The Ivy Tech Hamilton County Commencement ceremony will be at 11:00 am, and usually lasts 60 to 90 minutes.
Graduating students’ names will be announced, and students will cross the stage to be recognized for their achievements.
Graduating students should assemble on campus at 10:00 a.m. to prepare for the 11:00 a.m. start time. Please enter at Door #1 (main entrance). We will have staff present to direct students. Graduates, please be sure to leave all valuables, including cell phones and purses, with family and/or friends prior to the lineup.
We kindly ask that all guests enter at Door #10 (west side of building).
