Metal Finishing and Polishing

Provide world-class metal finishing instruction for orthopedic & industrial manufacturing, gain experience in polishing techniques with hand-eye coordination, and use abrasive belts and buffs to obtain desired dimensionally and cosmetically correct finishes.

Gain hands-on experience in world-class metal finishing techniques used across the orthopedic and industrial manufacturing industries. This course trains students in the art of polishing and finishing with precision, using abrasive belts, buffs, and a variety of specialized equipment to achieve both cosmetically and dimensionally accurate results. Students will interpret blueprints and cosmetic standards, practice preventative maintenance, and master the safe, effective use of tools and machinery. Emphasis is placed on hand-eye coordination, safety protocols, and measurement techniques to ensure high-quality outcomes and workplace readiness.

Employee registration is coordinated by the Program Manager supporting your training. Depending on the course, employees may register in person, through an organization-provided roster, or via a self-registration link. Your Program Manager will guide you through the best option for your specific training.
