Facilities Operating Engineers Second Class Licensing (ASOPE)

Introduces a thorough overview of boilers, operation and maintenance, as well as the basic knowledge and skills necessary to safely and efficiently operate a facilities plant.

This seminar trains the operator in reducing energy costs and maintenance headaches in an effort to increase production profits. It prepares participants to sit for the ASOPE Facility Plant Operator Second Class License exam. To sit for the Second Class License exam, you must have one year operating experience and held the Facility Plant Operator Third Class license for one year and/or proof of three years of operating experience.

Employee registration is coordinated by the Program Manager supporting your training. Depending on the course, employees may register in person, through an organization-provided roster, or via a self-registration link.
