Microsoft Word - Level 1

In this course, you'll learn how to use Microsoft Word to create professional-quality documents that grab and hold your audience's attention from start to finish. Available as open enrollment for individuals or as customized contract training for employers looking to upskill their workforce.

In this Level 1 Word class, students will learn basic skills including:

  • Introduction to MS Office and Using Common Features.

  • Creating & Editing Business Documents.

  • Creating a Resume in a table.

  • Creating Reports.

  • Creating a promotional Brochure.

  • Using Mail Merge.

Employee registration is coordinated by the Program Manager supporting your training. Depending on the course, employees may register in person, through an organization-provided roster, or via a self-registration link. Your Program Manager will guide you through the best option for your specific training.
