Ivy Tech Community College honored 38 faculty and adjunct faculty members with its annual President's Awards on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, at the Black Iris Estate in Carmel, and Inga Crim was one of the honorees!

Crim has been an Ivy Tech Indianapolis nursing adjunct faculty member since 2003, and she has worked tirelessly to assist the department and the College in producing quality nursing student graduates. Her nominator, Myra Hart, dean of the School of Nursing, says Crim is always available to assist when needed and takes on a schedule each semester conducting both pediatric and obstetrical simulations. In the past year, she has also offered to help in other areas of the nursing curriculum due to the nursing faculty shortage. Crim conducted complex adult medical-surgical simulations, which required additional preparation time on her part. In addition, she came in on several occasions to shadow other faculty to gain the needed knowledge and training to assist in these areas.

“Inga is an amazing nurse with compassion for education and students like no other. It is evident when watching her in action that she is striving to propel the students to greatness. She is motivated and eager each and every semester,” Hart said.

Congratulations to Crim on this well-deserved recognition!
