To perform an effective search, you need to know how to use the query operators. You can only do Boolean searches, so all the subsequent information is based on Boolean search rules.
Boolean expressions are used to describe exactly what you are searching for. Normally, boolean expressions use
the terms and and or but parentheses can also be used to group things together. Here are some examples
of boolean expressions:
