PreEngineering

The Pre-Engineering program is designed to prepare you for transfer to baccalaureate degree programs in engineering. The program curriculum will provide a strong foundation in science, math and technology. Special emphasis is placed on qualitative and quantitative analytical skills necessary in engineering design and problem solving while working in a cooperative team environment. Skills and knowledge can be applied to a wide range of baccalaureate engineering specialties including Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, and Chemical engineering. The program will also focus on the applied aspects of science and engineering.

To earn this degree, you must have 66-69 credits in the following areas:

  • General Education Core: 43-45 credits
  • Professional/Technical Core: 23-24 credits
