Microsoft Excel 2019 & 365 covers critical Excel skills, from introductory through advanced. Introductory topics in Unit/Level 1 includes:

  1. Entering, editing, and formatting entries.
  2. Select cells and ranges.
  3. Creating and modifying basic formulas.
  4. Insert charts and tables.
  5. Creating a template.
  6. Sorting and filtering data.

Career Options

Excel Level 1 is a beginner level course that is great for individuals to build and refresh basic navigation and function Excel skills. This course prepares individuals for more advances courses. Excel is a great resource for teaching individuals many important skills, like data visualization, data organization and information restructuring, filtration, quick calculations, data interpretation and tabulation, etc. All of these skills are important for the future.

Students will need basic computer skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
