Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne and Warsaw’s Circle of Ivy chapter has raised a total of $9,401 to support student success across both campuses. The organization is focusing its efforts on five different projects. 

Here’s a breakdown of the impact: 

  • Library Coffee and Tea Bar (Fort Wayne) | $1,900 
  • Emergency Funds: Paramedic Science Clinical Requirement Assistance Program (Fort Wayne) | $950.50 
  • Emergency Funds: Dominican Republic Service Project (Fort Wayne) | $950.50 
  • Emergency Funds: Expanded Electronics Access for Students (Warsaw) | $5,000 
  • Emergency Funds: Textbook and Testing Support (Warsaw) | $600 

Three projects are being funded by the Fort Wayne Circle, which has raised $3,801. This includes support for a Coffee and Tea Bar in the library, emergency funds for the paramedic program to assist students meeting their clinical prerequisites, and emergency funds for the nursing program’s mission to the Dominican Republic. 

The Warsaw Circle raised $5,600 to support two projects. This includes emergency funds to expand electronic access for students and emergency funds for textbook and testing support.  

“As am alum, I am proud to be a part of Circle of Ivy,” says Evelyn Fowler, 2023 Ivy Tech Fort Wayne alumna. “I enjoy being able to give back to an institution that has given so much to me and enabled me to start my career teaching and helping others.” 

Since its inception in 2015, Circle of Ivy has grown to more than 1,000 members statewide. In seven years, the members have raised more than $1 million to assist with 384 projects.
