WHAT IS TUESDAYS@THETECH?
Tuesdays@TheTech is a special event hosted in person at Ivy Tech locations around the state to help new, current, and prospective students make their way through the enrollment process — from applying to Ivy Tech to navigating financial aid to registering for classes. Whatever you need to help you get over the finish line! Our goal is to make sure you are supported at every step of your Ivy Tech journey.
IN-PERSON ASSISTANCE
Getting ready to attend Ivy Tech or registering for classes can be overwhelming. We get it! At Tuesdays@TheTech, you have the opportunity to meet local staff and connect with your campus community. Common discussion topics include:
- Getting Started at Ivy Tech – how do I apply, help with submitting FAFSA documentation, how to set up a MyIvy account, help with course placement
- Registering for Classes – which of Ivy Tech's 70+ academic programs is best for me, which classes should I take, how do I register for classes, troubleshooting registration issues
- Career Development – meet with a career coach, what career might be a good fit, resume preparation, internship opportunities, help finding a job after graduation
- Paying for College – how much will Ivy Tech cost, payment options, help managing financial aid, info about special tuition programs such as Next Level Jobs and Achieve Your Degree
CUSTOMIZE YOUR VISIT
Each Ivy Tech location offers a different variety of services and activities during its Tuesdays@TheTech events. The Tuesdays@TheTech team will customize your visit to match your specific needs, but most visits can include:
- Campus tour to check out our modern facilities, student hot spots, and state-of-the-art labs
- A personalized admissions appointment to discuss your goals and next steps
- Consultation with a financial aid counselor to understand more about costs, scholarships, and ways to pay for college
- Info about student life and how you can get involved
- Assistance with veteran benefits
- A meeting with a career coach or help with exploring careers
- In-depth visit with a faculty member from your program
- If you are ready, a registration session to sign up for classes for the upcoming term

- Take a Campus Tour to check out our facilities, including the student lounge and library, as well as our state of the art classrooms and labs.
- Meet one on one with a team member for Admissions Assistance so you can complete your admissions steps.
- Learn about your Financial Aid Options, including how to apply, what type of aid is available to you, and additional ways to pay for college. FAFSA filing events offered every first Tuesday of the month.
- Spend some time in Career Exploration! Are you unsure which program or degree is the right fit for you? You can meet with or set up an appointment with a Career Coach.

October School Spotlight—School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering & Applied Science
Ivy Tech’s School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering & Applied Science prepares students for the industries that build our modern world. We offer programs like agriculture, engineering, HVAC, and automotive technology, but we also have more unique options like the only aviation manufacturing course in the Midwest and the first Smart Manufacturing and Digital Integration program in the nation!
Students get hands-on experience through internships and apprenticeships with industry partners, often with opportunities for full-time employment after graduation. And with stackable credentials, students can quickly build up their resumes and stand out with credentials that highlight the marketable skills they learned along the way toward their certification or degree.

FAFSA Filing Assistance
The 2025-26 FAFSA is now available! If you need any assistance filling out the form, visit your local campus during Tuesdays@TheTech. Our enrollment teams will be available to offer tips on how to make the process easier and provide answers to any FAFSA questions you may have.
Veterans Day Event — November 11, 2025
Active military personnel, veterans and their families are invited to join us for a special Tuesdays@TheTech on November 11. During this event, you can complete enrollment steps, learn about financial aid resources, and connect with local Veteran & Military Benefits Specialists who are available to help you navigate your time at Ivy Tech.
