WebCape (Language Placement) Assessment
WebCape is available to students to help them enroll in the appropriate level language course(s). Note,
placement testing does not result in earned credit but rather suggests a starting point for enrollment
purposes.

Exam Information
WebCape is a web-based assessment. It is not a proctored assessment and can be taken from home or
high school. Taking it in an Ivy Tech testing center is an option for students who wish to do so.
The fee for WebCape is $12 per test and is collected from the student during scheduling.
Students should refer to the WebCape How to Schedule document for more information about
scheduling the exam.
