Lawrenceburg Campus

This scholarship was established by the College to provide financial assistance to students enrolled at the Batesville campus.

The Aurora Chapter of Tri Kappa sponsors this scholarship to celebrate the spirit of Bonita Miller Schmidt. Bonita was a member of Tri Kappa for 33 years and during her service held all offices. Many will remember her smile and strong work ethic. She believed with motivation and desire one could accomplish any goal. It is in this memory that the Aurora Chapter of Tri Kappa honors her with this scholarship. Bonita lost her battle to ovarian cancer in 2006, but her spirit and belief that one should never give up inspired this scholarship. Recipients of this scholarship should remember by virtue of attending college and accomplishing the first year of rigorous nursing program, anything is attainable.

The Brickley Nursing Scholarship can be used for tuition, books, fees, and related incidentals. Preference will be given to student of Inuit or Native American descent from the United States or Canada. DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) students are eligible.

Civista Charitable Foundation is a long standing supporter of Ivy Tech Community College, Lawrenceburg through their generous contributions of time, talent, and resources. Civista Charitable Foundation believes in the power of education and its ability to change lives and believes that educating the local workforce contributes to the overall economic development of the Dearborn County Community.

This scholarship provides Ivy Tech Community College students who reside in Dearborn County, Indiana With financial assistance with tuition, books, and/or fees who demonstrate academic success. Student may enroll full or part time in any degree program.

This scholarship is made available for the general benefit of the student body based on greatest needs.

The Lilly Foundation, Inc. endowed the Dearborn County Scholarship in partnership with the UCB Charitable Foundation and the Dearborn Community to assist Dearborn County residents attending the Ivy Tech Community College Lawrenceburg and Batesville Service Areas.

A scholarship, up to $500 per academic year, may be awarded to any student enrolled at the Lawrenceburg or Batesville campus who is also degree or certificate seeking. The scholarship may be used for tuition,book, or any other associated Ivy Tech fees.

This scholarship was established in Floyd C. Miller's memory by family and friends to assist a student enrolled at the Lawrenceburg or Batesville campus. Floyd was an honored math educator for 44 years. He spent 4 years at Ivy Tech as an adjunct and an associate professor at both Lawrenceburg and Batesville campuses. He always made himself available to any student who needed extra help or encouragement to help them  succeed. This scholarship is intended to aid the financial burden for a student pursuing a career in education. Student must be enrolled in either the ECED or EDUC program full or part time. Student must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

This Scholarship is for financial aid to first-time Ivy Tech Lawrenceburg students from one of the following target groups: displaced workers, women re-entering the workforce, minorities, recipients of public assistance.

The Gene Haas Foundation's goals are to introduce students to careers in machine tachnology and manufacturing. Gene Haas is founder and president of Haas Automation, a CNC machine tool manufacturer. He has a passion for revitalizing the manufacturing industry in our country and has invested million in educational projects throughout the years. This scholarship is to be given to students currently enrolled in or will be enrolling in a machining based training and/or engineering program at the postsecondary level or the costs of attending CNC machinging classes at a secondary level career center. This scholarship can also apply to NIMS certifications or MCCT DE pathways.

This Scholarship was started in the fall of 2019 by Professor Paul Dadosky to help IT students achieve their  education goals. Requirements are: Major in any IT program at the Lawrenceburg/Batesville campus; scholarship may be used for tuition, fees, and books; students must have 12 earned credit hours and a 3.2 or better cumulative GPA; be degree, certificat, or credential seeking. Priority given to students who demonstrate leadership in school clubs or organizations.

Awardee must be a Lawrenceburg or Batesville enrolled student, degree or certificate seeking, and have successfully completed 6 credit hours, preferably in Design Technology, with equal secondary consideration in Industrial Technology, Building Construction, Construction Technology Management, Machine Tool Technology, or other STEM or Manufacturing programs.

Manufacturing program scholarship for students attending Ivy Tech’s Lawrenceburg or Batesville campuses.
Jeff Brandt was a generous and loving husband, father and friend whose life ended too soon. He was a dedicated manufacturing tradesman for 40 years. Jeff loved his job and worked all aspects of the machine tool industry from manufacturing parts, spindle assembly and repair and spindle sales.
He would love helping students advance their career in Manufacturing. He felt this field needed new and talented people to keep the industry moving forward.

This Scholarship is available to a student attending Batesville or Lawrenceburg campus who needs financial assistance due to natural disasters or accidents (weather-related, fires, floods, etc.) loss of transportation, loss of child care, threat of eviction, or threat of utilities disconnected. Funds may be applied toward the above emergencies and/or to purchase books/supplies for courses where those are lost as a result of a natural disaster or accident.

Jim and Charlotte Helms established this scholarship to students enrolled in Lawrenceburg/Batesville campus. Student must maintain GPA 3.0 or higher. Based on financial need and academic success.

This scholarship was originally established by the Lawrenceburg Tri Kappa to support residents of Dearborn County who are enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College with their educational expenses. The Lawrenceburg Tri Kappa's purpose is to bring women into close, unselfish relationships for promotion of charity, culture, and education.

This scholarship will be awarded to a Lawrenceburg or Batesville enrolled student studying Sociology or Psychology in good academic standing with preference to adopted or foster care students. After Karl’s 40 years in public social service, he began a career as an instructor at Ivy Tech. Karl’s passion has always been helping others, so he decided he would continue to support those in need in the form of a scholarship. Karl has seen firsthand the struggles for students “in the system” and hopes this scholarship will help lighten their burden to help them focus on their education goals.

This scholarship is restricted to students attending the Lawrenceburg campus. GPA must be 3.0 or greater.

Endowment appreciation

This scholarship, held by Ivy Tech Foundation, is established as a tribute to a veteran teacher and Ivy Tech administrator, Havey S. Poling Jr., to allow students in need to continue and finish their education in a timley fashion. Students must be at least 28 years of age, have completed a current FAFSA, demonstrate financial need, and have good academic standing. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, have successfully completed 15 credit hours or more and have completed at least one-half of their program for a 1 year Technical Certificate or an Associates Degree. Must attend Lawrenceburg/Batesville Service Area.

This Scholarship was started in honor of Rick Weber's retirement after 35+ year career in manufacturing and for his support to Ivy Tech's manufacturing programs. The funds were donated by vendeors, employees, and family. Scholarship can be used for tuition, books, and fees. Student must be seeking a degree, certificate, or credential and enrolled at Batesville or Lawrenceburg campus in manufacturing program.

This scholarship endowment was established by the Lilly Foundation, Inc. in partnership with the Ripley County Community to assist Ripley County residents in the Southeastern Indiana region. The primary purpose of this fun is to provide better educational and career opportunities for the residents of Ripley County. May choose any degree program. Must demonstrate financial need and/or academic success. Must reside in Ripley County. May be a full or part-time student. Fall and Spring GPA must be 3.0 or greater.

Endowment Expendable

Toby was a non-traditional adult student who began his college journey at age 40 after a life altering illness forced him to leave his skilled trade of 22 years due to physical limitations. As a first-generation student, he was intimidated to enroll, but he immediately felt valued and supported by both the faculty and staff at Ivy Tech, which ultimately inspired him to take the higher education career path himself. Toby’s family wants to honor his memory and passion for education by paying it forward for another adult student without aid.

This scholarship fund was established by William Gutzwiller and Janet Bozzelli in honor of Margaret Mary Hospital. The primary purpose of the fund is to provide support for technology and scholarships for Ivy Tech Community College students attending the Lawrenceburg/Batesville campus who are enrolled in Health Sciences or School of Nursing.
