The Herb Society of Central Indiana Culinary Scholarship

The Herb Society of America, Inc. promotes the environmentally sensitive preservation, cultivation, knowledge, use, and delight of herbs through education, research, member interactions, and partnerships with the community. The Herb Society of Central Indiana, a unit of the national organization, currently has a membership of around 65 gardeners. They have a number of committees that volunteer their expertise and muscles at Indianapolis area gardens, schools, and community events. 

It is a $1,000 annual scholarship for a 2nd-year culinary arts or baking and pastry arts student who shows interest in cooking/baking with herbs.
