Eligible students must be enrolled at the Anderson campus and meet at least one of the following requirements:

• Have experienced the death of one or both parents before the age of 18 or have experienced the death of a spouse.

The Christy Whittemore Memorial Scholarship is established by Patricia Gale and family to honor the memory of Christy Whittemore, a 2012 Ivy Tech Dental Hygiene graduate. Christy spread love and joy wherever she was. Her smile would light up a room. She was caring and giving and always willing to help others out. A smart and dedicated student herself, Christy's family is still in contact with one of her classmates who says, "I would never have made it through without Whitty's help!"

This scholarship is made available through the generosity of The Gene Haas Foundation, who's primary goal is to build skills in the machining industry by providing scholarships for CNC machine technology students.

Established in memory of Jordan Kontor, this scholarship is open students attending the Anderson campus enrolled in a Business or Entrepreneurship study program. This scholarship aims to empower and support individuals during the transformative period of emerging adulthood. Recognizing this phase as a critical time filled with challenges, and opportunities, the scholarship seeks to be a catalyst for positive growth and development.

This scholarship was created in memory of Mary Beeman Gripe to help make a difference for students enrolled in health programs at the Anderson campus. Mary was a motivational force in her grandchildren’s lives guiding them to “Make a difference for folks when we are able”.
