Welcome to Ivy Tech Community College Kokomo. At our Kokomo, Logansport, and Peru locations, we offer the communities we serve a high quality, affordable and welcoming educational experience.  Whether you are a current or prospective student, or a current or future employer partner, our faculty and staff are here to help you achieve your training and educational goals. Our faculty are accomplished instructors who draw on years of business, industry, and professional experience to create a supportive and engaging classroom experience.  Our dedicated staff work to ensure that students are prepared to be successful and are ready to build on that success with career coaching, internship opportunities, and academic and transfer advising.  We are Indiana’s community college, and we are your community college.

What makes our campus unique?

  • On August 4, 2021, the Kokomo community gathered for a ceremonial ribbon-cutting of the transformation of the Kokomo campus and the celebration of the $43 million investment into the lives of the students in our service area. More than 250 individuals, businesses, and government and civic organizations came together to raise $3,314,693 for our new state-of-the-art facility. 
  • The Kokomo service area, the Kokomo Area Career Center, the Century Career Center, and Chariot Auto Group were awarded the first State Earn and Learn (SEAL) certification in our region. This program allows students to graduate high school with industry credentials, college credits, and valuable work experience on their way to receiving a certificate in Automotive Technology-Maintenance and Light Repair.

Recent Accomplishments

  • Yoon Ho Choi, CEO of Samsung SDI, in his announcement of the construction of the $2.5B EV battery production facility, Star Plus Energy, stated that an important reason for selecting Kokomo as a site for the plant was due to Ivy Tech Community College - Kokomo and the relationship between Ivy Tech, Samsung SDI and Stellantis. 
  • Ivy Tech - Kokomo recently receive $1M of READI funds from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IDEC) and $1.2M in city and county grants to support the renovation of the campus' Smart Manufacturing and Digital Integration lab. 
  • The Kokomo service are received the 2022 Luminary Award for Education from NIPSCO.  The Luminary Awards were created to honor leaders and organizations for their outstanding commitment to strengthening local communities.
