Succeed in High School & Beyond

AN UNPARALLELED COLLEGE CHOICE FOR HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES

It's clear that your family values education and student success. Ivy Tech Community College shares your commitment and strives to provide students with an affordable, career-focused education and the attention they need to be successful in the classroom.

Personal Attention

Classes are available in-person, online, and a variety of options in between, so you can choose what works best for you. If studying from home is a priority, students can learn from the comfort of their homes, and advisors, instructors, and tutoring are available via Zoom, call, and email.

Career-Focused Degrees or Affordable Transfer Options

Ivy Tech is a great choice whether students want to enter the workforce quickly or continue on toward a bachelor's degree. Ivy Tech offers more than 70 exceptional academic programs statewide that let you hit the ground running. Students can complete an industry-relevant certificate or associate degree in two years or less, or explore transfer opportunities to a four-year institution, all while saving thousands of dollars in avoided tuition costs.

The Most Affordable College Option in Indiana

With full-time, in-state tuition at just under $4,500 per year—plus free textbooks—Ivy Tech is the most affordable college option in Indiana. Scholarships and grants are also available, which is money that doesn’t have to be paid back!

Your Source for Supplemental Courses

We recognize that some courses, like foreign language or lab-based science classes, can be difficult to teach in a homeschool setting. Ivy Tech can be a great choice to supplement your existing high school curriculum. And, students earn college credit for those classes! Explore classes

Take IVY TECH Classes in HIGH SCHOOL

Taking Ivy Tech classes while you’re in high school is a great way to get a jumpstart on your future. At Ivy Tech, students can begin earning college credits while taking courses necessary for high school graduation. Taking college classes in high school can help students get a better understanding of what is expected in college and build increased confidence in their ability to handle college. They also give students access to Ivy Tech resources such as the library and tutoring and provide opportunities to make connections with employers.

  • Dual Enrollment – Dual Enrollment is when a high school student takes college courses at Ivy Tech while they’re still in high school. Students pay for their courses. Learn more about Dual Enrollment

  • Dual Credit – If you have a relationship with an Indiana high school career center, you may be able to take Ivy Tech classes through the high school for free through our Dual Credit program. Learn more about Dual Credit ->
