If you are simply planning on taking a few classes at Ivy Tech, and you aren’t seeking a degree, you want to be sure you apply as a Courses Only student. If you are currently enrolled at another four-year college and are planning on transferring credits back to your home institution, learn more about applying as a guest student.

What happens after you're accepted?

Even after you're received your acceptance letter, there are a few steps left before enrollment. And the sooner you complete those steps, the sooner you'll get to pick the classes you want.

Use the Student Information Card that came with your acceptance packet to set up your account.
Courses-Only Students

Assessment
Complete your assessment by submitting your PSAT, SAT, or ACT scores, your previous college credit, or your high school GPA. You may have additional options to complete your assessment requirement, learn more by visiting our assessment page.
