This course equips emerging and aspiring leaders with practical strategies to navigate early challenges, build credibility, and set the foundation for long‑term success. You’ll explore the key transitions every new leader faces and master three leadership differentiators proven to shape a strong reputation.

Course Overview

Great leadership happens one conversation at a time. The toughest of those exchanges can stir strong emotions—yours and theirs—that influence both results and relationships. Communication: Connect Through Conversations shows you how to harness emotional intelligence to keep every dialogue—face‑to‑face, virtual, or phone—on track. Using interactive exercises and real‑world scenarios, you’ll learn to balance heart (acknowledging feelings) with head (driving toward clear business outcomes), so even difficult discussions move forward with trust and clarity.

What You’ll Learn

  • Use emotional intelligence to navigate high‑stakes conversations
  • Strike the right balance between empathy and business focus
  • Build strong partnerships through open, authentic communication
  • Manage relationships effectively across teams and channels
  • Master these skills and turn every conversation—even the tough ones—into an opportunity for better results and stronger connections.

Course Overview

Ongoing growth is everyone’s business—yours, your team’s, and the organization’s. This course shows leaders how to turn development from a wish into a systematic practice. Using the Assess → Acquire → Apply model, you’ll learn to pinpoint high‑payoff skills, choose the right learning methods, and put new capabilities to work on real projects. Through group discussions, videos, and hands‑on exercises, you’ll also tackle common roadblocks—like limited time, learner resistance, or unclear goals—and discover simple metrics to track progress and impact.

What You’ll Learn

  • Shared Ownership: Clarify the leader’s and employee’s roles in successful development

  • Three‑Step Framework: Assess strengths and gaps, acquire new skills, and apply them for measurable results

  • Best Practices: Overcome typical barriers and keep development plans on track

Walk away ready to craft and execute development plans that boost individual performance and drive business results.

Course Overview

Great teams flourish under great coaching. This session gives leaders the tools to turn everyday conversations into performance‑boosting moments. You’ll learn when to use proactive coaching to help people thrive in new or challenging situations and reactive coaching to address performance gaps.
