This Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification Prep course (100-180 contact hours) prepares learners for entry-level work as a nursing assistant in long-term care, hospitals, and home health settings under the supervision of licensed nurses. The course builds the core knowledge, hands-on skills, and professional behaviors required to provide safe, respectful, and patient-centered care. Learners practice essential CNA competencies through instruction, skills lab, and supervised clinical experiences (as applicable), with a focus on communication, infection prevention, safety, documentation, and supporting activities of daily living. Upon successful completion, learners meet Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) minimum training standards and are eligible to apply to sit for the ISDH CNA certification exam.
