This class teaches Dental Assistants to administer and monitor nitrous oxide.
This course allows participants to establish didactic and clinical competency in administering and monitoring nitrous oxide.

The Indiana State Board of Dentistry has recently (2020) passed a law allowing dental hygienists and dental assistants to complete training certification in order to administer nitrous oxide under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist.
Students must be a graduate of a Dental Assisting program accredited by the Commission on Dental Education of the American Dental Association OR One year employment as Dental Assistant
