  • Manipulate hand instruments to properly place, carve, and finish amalgam restorations.
  • Manipulate hand instruments to properly place and finishcomposite restorations.
  • Identify the components of the Indiana Dental Law thatallow dental assistants to complete EFDA tasks.
  • Identify the dental materials specifically related to EFDA and manipulate them according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Utilize the rubber dam effectively.

Currently working as a Dental Assistant

AND

Graduate of a Dental Assisting program accredited by the Commission on Dental Education of the American Dental Association OR Passed the DANB exams and CDA is in good standing OR One year employed as Dental Assistant
