Dual Admission is when a student starts working toward their associate degree at Ivy Tech and is simultaneously enrolled at a four-year partner college or university. In your first two years, you take Ivy Tech classes as you work on your associate degree while enjoying the on-campus activities and resources at the four-year partner institution where you will later earn your bachelor’s degree. Currently, Ivy Tech has Dual Admission partnerships with two Indiana universities:
Once your application processing is complete, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address provided on your guest student application. Typically the email will arrive within 1-2 business days of submission, but during peak processing periods (April-June) could take up to 5-10 business days. If it has been more than 10 business days since you applied and you have not yet received your acceptance letter, contact Admissions at 888-IVY-LINE (1-888-489-5463).
The email will contain instructions on how to register for classes, as well as important information regarding your Ivy Tech student portal (MyIvy account), tuition, payment options, and more.

In addition, you may receive a call from an enrollment specialist from the Ivy Tech campus you applied to who will answer any questions you may have.
Submit Agreement Form to Your Selected Partner University
After you apply to Ivy Tech, you will need to complete a form indicating your intention to participate in the Dual Admission program for your selected university. At this time, we have agreements with two universities:
IU Southeast:
By submitting the statement of intent form below, you will formally indicate your intent to participate in the Ivy Tech Community College and IU Southeast Dual Admission Program.
By submitting the agreement form below, you will formally indicate your intent to participate in the Ivy Tech Community College and Purdue University Northwest Dual Admission Program.
Look Out for an Email From Your Selected Partner University
IU Southeast:
A representative of the Green/Crimson Dual Admission program will contact you at the email you provided on the "Intent to Participate" form.
Purdue Northwest:
A representative of the Dual Admission program from Purdue Northwest will contact you at the email you provided on the agreement form.

In order to be eligible to enroll in the program, students:
Must attend Ivy Tech and earn an associate degree with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
May not attend another institution between the time they graduate from Ivy Tech and formally enroll at Purdue Northwest for their bachelor’s degree
Must re-apply to the Dual Admission program through an appeal process if there is a break of more than one regular fall or spring semester in their attendance at either institution
In order to receive guaranteed admission to IU Southeast, students must have completed an associate degree and earned a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher at Ivy Tech.
Students need to be in good standing to maintain eligibility for the program and access to IU Southeast resources.
Student participation is subject to Indiana University's behavioral disclosure policies. Under these policies, a student has a continuing obligation to inform the University of any formal disciplinary action or legal charges and/or convictions.
There are no hard deadlines for applying for Dual Admission. The primary requirement to starting the process is to apply to and be accepted to Ivy Tech. After that, you need to complete a form indicating your intention to participate in the Dual Admission program and enroll at your selected university. The beginning of classes at your selected university is based on the date you complete your associate degree at Ivy Tech.
