LOGANSPORT, Ind. — Ivy Tech Community College is offering an eight-week instructor-led training course designed to increase the English language proficiency of people whose native language is not English.

 

The course, English as a Second Language, will be offered three times in 2025, from Jan. 13 to March 7; from March 17 to May 9; and from June 9 to Aug. 1, at the Ivy Tech Logansport campus at 1 Ivy Tech Drive

 

The focus of this class is to increase the student’s proficiency of the English language in reading, writing, listening and speaking.

 

The classes will meet twice a week in three-hour sessions with day and evening opportunities available (9 a.m. to noon and 6 to 9 p.m.).
