The School of Arts, Sciences, & Education at Ivy Tech Indianapolis hosted its second annual SASE Student Showcase on Tuesday, May 7, featuring around 50 students from various programs, including physics, biology, chemistry, early childhood education, art, and global studies.
Impressive capstone research projects, such as studies on bacterial growth on reptile carpets, bacterial contamination on cosmetic testers, the effects of caffeine on plant growth, and more, highlighted the event. Additionally, students in the global studies program presented its International Virtual Exchanges and Collaborations with students in Colombia and Uzbekistan, focusing on global sustainable development goals.
The students showcased their work through TikTok videos, research papers, and PowerPoint presentations, making a lasting impression at the event.
