Ivy Tech Community College Evansville has two upcoming trainings planned to help underemployed individuals skill up for potential jobs.
The free interactive sessions will include lunch and take place on the Evansville Ivy Tech campus, 3501 N. First Avenue.
Empowering Employment Sessions offered in August include:
- August 14 – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Session 1: Overview of Employability Skills; Career & Personal Skill Exploration and Development; and Professionalism
August 28 – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Session 2: Critical Thinking and Collaborative Decision Making
Through activity and interaction, learn to evaluate situations and generate solutions
These sessions are the first part of a three-part training series planned, which includes “Effective Use of AI in the Workplace” (Part 2) and “Leadership Skills” (Part 3). Participants are not required to attend all sessions.
