Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington offers free training programs paid for by the state’s Next Level Jobs Workforce Ready Grant. The grant covers tuitions costs for eligible students and training leads to careers in high-demand industries in the region.

Interested individuals are invited to an information session on Tuesday, April 28 at 6 p.m. Attendance is on campus in room C221 or virtual and RSVPs are requested.

Ivy Tech Bloomington offers free, short-term certificate programs in:

  • Advanced manufacturing
  • Building & construction
  • Early childhood education, firefighting, and paralegal
  • Healthcare & nursing
  • Information technology and business
  • Supply chain management

Eligibility for the grant is not income-based. Tuition is completely covered for students who meet the following requirements: must be an Indiana resident, have a high school diploma or HSE, have not earned a college degree or Next Level Jobs-eligible certificate, and file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The campus has financial aid professionals who can assist with filing a FAFSA.
