Bloomington — Ivy Tech Community College’s Bloomington campus is seeking nominations for the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award. The Distinguished Alumni Award celebrates Ivy Tech Bloomington graduates who have made a lasting and meaningful impact on the community through professional, philanthropic, or volunteer achievements.
The recipient of the annual award will be celebrated at a statewide Ivy Tech ceremony in the fall. Recent past recipients of the Ivy Tech Bloomington Distinguished Alumni Award, include:
- 2023 Erik Bare, 2009 radiation therapy graduate
- 2022 Steve Headdy, RN, 2010 nursing graduate
- 2021 Dr. Gregory May (late), 2005 general studies graduate
- 2019 Debra Morrow, 2006 criminal justice graduate
The Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest honor given to recognize Ivy Tech alumni across the state. Employers, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends are encouraged to submit nominations. Self-nominees accepted.
