Bloomington — Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington and Warrant Technologies have partnered to provide Information Technology students and graduates with career opportunities, while creating a talent pipeline for Warrant.
”This invaluable partnership with Warrant Technologies is giving Ivy Tech Bloomington IT students in-depth experience with a local Department of Defense contractor,” said Michael Waterford, Talent Connection Manager, Ivy+ Career Link. “As Warrant grows, they look to bring on Ivy Tech IT graduates and we know they’ll be provided with a fantastic start to a long, rewarding career.”
Warrant is directly engaging Ivy Tech Bloomington students and graduates with internships, mentorship programs, career fairs, and exclusive recruitment events.
“By joining forces with such a prestigious institution, we aim to bridge the gap between education and industry, ensuring that Ivy Tech graduates have a smooth transition into the real-world job market,” said David Dixon, Warrant Technologies.
During a recent internship initiative, Warrant mentored IT graduate, Drew Tomey.
“I chose the internship with Warrant because I wanted to challenge myself, while gaining practical experience in the industry. Warrant Technologies has allowed me to do that, and more,” Tomey said. “It is exciting to contribute to real projects with a talented team of professionals.”
At the conclusion of his internship, Tomey was offered and secured a full-time position with Warrant.
