BLOOMINGTON – Ivy Tech’s Bloomington campus hosted the second annual Taste of the World on Thursday, March 1, to celebrate the global diversity of Ivy Tech students, faculty and staff. The event featured live international music, food samples from local restaurants, and more.

During the evening event, artist Joe Lamantia led the creation of a community artwork entitled Breaking Bread. The Indiana University East Asian Studies Center and Inner Asian & Uralic National Resource Center will provide live musical entertainment.

Taste of the World is one example of the immersive college experience at Ivy Tech Bloomington. Students are involved on campus and in their communities through service-learning courses and student life programming that includes student government, leadership, recreational sports, clubs, fitness classes, guest speakers, and much more.
