BLOOMINGTON – Students, faculty and staff attended the second annual Celebrate Diversity event on Thursday, September 7 to learn about cultural organizations on campus and in the community. The event was hosted as part of fall welcoming activities for students.
The event featured several musical performances. Song and dance performers included Dr. Iman Alramadan and students from Indiana University’s Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures, Dr. Betty Sibongile Dlamini and students from Indiana University’s African Studies Program, and Scottish Country Dancers, and All About Bellydance. Angus Martin performed Scottish smallpipes and Great Highland bagpipes.
