TERRE HAUTE | GREENCASTLE – Ivy Tech Terre Haute is proud to announce the appointment of Sonja Jordan as the campus’ new director of diversity, equity, and belonging. With Jordan’s leadership, Ivy Tech is taking a significant step forward in its journey towards embracing diversity and promoting belonging.
“I am honored to serve as the new director of diversity, equity, and belonging,” said Jordan. “Diversity is not just a concept, but a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where
every individual's unique background and perspective are not only valued but celebrated.” Jordan has served as the college's diversity lead for 4 years prior to being named the director. Her commitment goes far beyond the College, Jordan is involved with various organizations across the Wabash Valley and recently participated in United Way’s African American Board Leadership Institute. “We are thrilled to welcome Sonja Jordan into her role as our diversity, equity, and belonging director.
