Ivy Tech prepares students for today’s most in-demand careers by offering hands-on education in business, supply chain management, and information technology. Students not only build technical knowledge but also develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills that employers value across industries.
Areas of Study
- Business Administration: Management, marketing, economics, finance, accounting, business law, and communications, with real-world projects that immerse students in actual business scenarios.
- Supply Chain & Logistics: Movement and storage of raw materials, inventory management, production planning, logistics analysis, and tools to improve efficiency in manufacturing, warehousing, and transportation.
- Visual Communications: The Visual Communications program at Ivy Tech prepares students for creative careers in design, media, and digital arts. With hands-on training in graphic design, photography, video, UX, and web, students build strong technical and artistic skills. Graduates leave with a professional portfolio, ready for roles in media, marketing, and design or transfer to a four-year program.
- Information Technology: Cloud computing, software development, data analytics, IT support, informatics, networking, and cybersecurity, with Indiana projected to see 12.4% job growth in IT over the next decade. Ivy Tech is also recognized as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education.
